The FF14 7.2 patch notes reveal a hugely requested upgrade to dungeons

Preliminary FF14 7.2 patch notes reveal some very nice quality-of-life improvements for the critically acclaimed MMORPG. The next update for Final Fantasy 14 arrives Tuesday March 25, and will bring the next chapter of the Dawntrail story with it. While we'll have to wait a little longer for the arrival of major features such as Cosmic Exploration and the Occult Crescent, which arrive over the coming months, there are some very welcome upgrades that will make your life easier across the entire game.

FF14 director Yoshida squashes rumors about his executive status at Square Enix

As he shows off the new FF14 update, game director 'Yoshi-P' has put to bed swirling rumors about his status on the board at Square Enix. A post noting that Yoshida had not been mentioned in the company's yearly reports recently led to some speculation that he would no longer continue as an executive. During the pre-show for FF14 Live Letter 86, however, he confirms that these rumors are inaccurate.
