FF14 Dawntrail Viper job guide

How do you play Viper in FF14? With very little defensive abilities and few options for utility, Viper seems like it's going to be the glass cannon of the DPS jobs. The potential for massive damage is at the tip of your blade, but reacting quickly to mechanics and staying out of danger will separate a good Viper from a great one. How do you play Pictomancer in FF14? Dawntrail's Pictomancer job is a caster, meaning players will need to learn how to position themselves while waiting for a cast to complete in addition to practicing a brand new rotation. This guide will give you an introduction to the job, how to unlock it, the basic principles to understand, and which spells you should keep within easy reach.

Because the FF14 Pictomancer is a caster, you should know how to slidecast and you may need to learn specific fights to master your positioning if you're doing high-end content. Unlike melee or physical ranged jobs in the MMO game, such as the new FF14 Viper melee DPS, you need to stay still in order for your cast to complete.

It is our pleasure to announce the start of early access for FINAL FANTASY XIV: Dawntrail! As of today, those who pre-ordered Dawntrail can set sail for Tural ahead of the official launch on Tuesday, July 2.

We hope you enjoy the new adventures that await in Tural!

[h3]Please Be Mindful About Spoilers[/h3]
During the early access period, there will be no restrictions on what content you can discuss, post, or stream while following the Material Usage License Agreement. However, we ask that early access players please be considerate and do their best to avoid posting spoiler-related content as there are those players who may start at the official launch or play at their own pace.

This doesn’t mean that players cannot stream or share the content they’re playing, we just ask everyone to be mindful about what they’re sharing publicly as they explore the new adventures in Dawntrail!

* Please be advised that data mining is a violation of the FINAL FANTASY XIV User Agreement.

[h3]Pre-order Bonus Code Registration[/h3]
During early access, players who have registered a pre-order bonus code and met the requirements to enter Dawntrail areas will be able to begin playing as soon as maintenance concludes. Read the instructions for registering your bonus code and participating in early access.

* Those who do not fulfill the requirements to enter Dawntrail areas can still enjoy Dawntrail-related content outside of the main scenario if they have registered their pre-order bonus code.

We’re only a couple of days away from the early access launch of Dawntrail, Final Fantasy XIV’s latest expansion and first in over two years since the climactic Endwalker. As the summery story expansion prepares to drop, Square Enix have run down everything else arriving in the MMO’s 7.0 patch, which notably includes its long-awaited graphical overhaul along with several other nice-to-have improvements whether you’re playing Dawntrail or not.

Are you locked out of the FF14 Dawntrail expansion after the official release? If you're having trouble figuring out how FF14 Dawntrail early access codes work, here's what you need to know on how to transition from early access into the full launch of the game.

It's slightly confusing when going into the FF14 Dawntrail release date, as for those that have pre-ordered the game, you'll be sent two codes: an early access code and a launch date code. Though the early access code will take you over the official launch date, it won't give you full and complete access to the FF14 expansion and you'll need to redeem the second code for the full experience.
