FFXIV 6.3 patch notes detail huge quality of life improvements

The FFXIV 6.3 patch notes are here ahead of the next update's arrival for the critically acclaimed MMORPG from Square Enix. The FFXIV 6.3 release date was revealed during Live Letter 75, along with many details about what to expect in the next update. The team has now provided the full preliminary patch notes, which include some rather excellent quality-of-life updates aimed at eliminating the need for several popular third-party add-ons.

All the realm is abrim with excitement in anticipation of the new year, and indeed, the sounds of merriment can be heard nowhere more strongly than in the streets of Limsa Lominsa, where delegates from the Far East have arrived in hopes of sharing their festive traditions. The usagi bugyo would have your aid in ensuring the celebration of Heavensturn is a success, and has prepared a handsome reward should you be willing to offer it.

Begin the quest "The Box of Fortune" by speaking to the usagi bugyo in Lima Lominsa, Upper Decks (X:11.5 Y:13.9).

*Players must be level 15 and above to start the quest.
