Regarding the Japanese & European Data Center Expansions



With the release of Patch 6.18, we have determined the expansion of the Japanese and European data centers, as well as the Data Center Travel system, to be stable. As such, the Home World Transfer Service resumes Tuesday, July 19 at 12:00 a.m. (PDT) / 7:00 (GMT) / 8:00 (BST) / 17:00 (AEST).

The purchase of housing will be made available at a later date.

Moreover, all characters in Japanese data centers will be eligible to use the Home World Transfer Service free of charge for approximately two weeks.

Crystalline Conflict Season One Results Revealed as Season Two Commences!



Crystalline Conflict Season One has drawn to a close!

Congratulations to those courageous competitors who reached the top of the rankings! Your ranking rewards are winging their way towards you via the moogle delivery service.

Additionally, tier rewards are available to all who finished the season in or above the Bronze tier. Speak with the Seasonal Quartermaster at the Wolves’ Den Pier (X:4.9 Y:5.7) to claim them.

Initial Season Two Tier/Riser Placements

All competitors will begin Season Two placed five risers below where they finished Season One, with zero Rising Stars.

Patch 6.18 brings a number of additions and refinements to the game, including the Data Center Travel system and the new Japanese data center, Meteor.

Final Fantasy 14's next big patch gives everyone their own idyllic island

A recent Final Fantasy 14 Letter from the Producer has given us some details on the long awaited Island Sanctuary mode, and more, coming in the next big update.

The next big patch for everyone's favourite MMO, patch 6.2, is set to launch late August, and will bring in a bunch of new content. Including the highly-anticipated Island Sanctuary, which will give every player their own personal island to relax on.

"Players will be able to build their own personal island sanctuary in this relaxing solo content," reads a press release. "Gather materials, build facilities, care for creatures, and more, without the need for previous crafting or gathering experience."
