T-Minus 21 Tasks And Counting...



Hey guys, we've gotten a major amount of progress accomplished these past few months and are now taking stock on what we can include in the update. We are down to our last 21 development tasks and once we have completed all of these tasks the update will be an all systems go!


Our dry erase board (which rules mercilessly over our lives) shows all the stuff we've finished. Tasks left to do are in the upper right. Some are super easy (Verify Junction System) and some are robust (Vehicle Crafting). Either way, we have our work cut out for ourselves.


As we continue forward we very much would like to work with you closely and embrace our Early Access journey together. This video demonstrates a much requested multiplayer feature: networked passengers.

Update Progress Coming Along Nicely


Hey guys, update is going really well! We’ve been laying out levels, optimizing graphics, and updating the AI. We're giving ourselves the time to really work the gameplay planet to planet, as opposed to giving you something that just "technically works". Now that most of the functionality is in we are testing these features in multiplayer, creating and using level design tools for level layout, and painstakingly measuring each feature and object for the highest possible framerate while keeping the graphics as breathtaking as possible.

Beyond that, we just wanted to share this new space scene with you! This shot features our new ultra wide screen support and our all new adaptive UI. The UI now adapts to any screen resolution and format, including 1080P, 720P, 4K resolutions, and any screen width.

We know you're as excited as we are to play the latest, and are getting really close to release. Please understand this is a wildly ambitious game and we would rather take a little longer to make something truly great as opposed to calling something "done" just to meet an arbitrary deadline expectation. There's no one path for Early Access, we are still in development, and game development is a very complex and time consuming process. Ultimately, we just want to make this game as amazing as we have hoped since the idea first came into existence back in 2014.

Beta Success

Hey everyone! Our team here at Fenix Fire just wanted to take the time to thank you for your participation in our Beta! We have gained extremely valuable feedback: it has helped us gain a better sense of where you are, what brings you to Osiris, and what we can improve on as we head towards 1.0.
