Patch 1.6.2

Hey everyone,

With these major Stardew Valley updates, it's typical that there are near-daily patches for a few days after launch. There's always a few weird bugs that are only discovered once the update is out and all of you are playing it. So here is the second post-launch patch for you.

Change log:

-Fixes an issue with Willy's rod
-Fix for invisible tea sprites
-Fixed an error in the Luau event in Portuguese
-Fix for pre-1.6 basic wines looking messed up
-Fix for a soft lock if you charged a tool and then strafed to a warp spot, and released the tool while warping
-Fix inedible ingredients being poisonous after turning into jelly or pickles
-Adds scaling edibility to juice, jellies, wine and pickles
-Volcano dwarf bombs now match regular dwarf bombs
-Void egg is now poisonous
-Adjusted adventure guild open hours on map
-Various translation fixes

Stardew Valley breaks all-time player record on Steam

Stardew Valley has always been popular, but not this popular. Since the colorful farming game's latest update arrived, thousands of players have returned to their farms and rekindled their old friendships with the locals. The Stardew Valley craze reached an all-time high on March 19 with a staggering 140k active players.

Just under 150K players flooded back to Stardew Valley for the 1.6 update, and hopefully, only a small number drank the mayo




Stardew Valley's 1.6 update is now live, releasing yesterday after Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone had enough time to wake up and make a cup of coffee—very funny, Barone. After waiting beside my PC all day for any signs of life, I immediately updated and jumped into 1.6 to start a brand new farm (and try to romance Sebastian all over again), and it looks like I wasn't the only one...

Stardew Valley 1.6 now tries to kill you for cheating

Now that Stardew Valley 1.6 is upon us, there are a lot of new features and changes to find in Eric 'ConcernedApe' Barone's farming game. Not everything appears to have made it into the patch notes though, as Barone looks to have added a little secret joke for out-of-bounds cheaters - just don't expect it to end well for you.
