The Metronomicon: Slay The Dance Floor News

Dance Battle to the Tune of your Own Music Library!

Big awesome news! Free update news!

Make Your Own Tunes!

The Metronomicon’s latest update is here, and it opens up so many fun doors to fun.
As of today, per massive player request, you, the player, can create your very own choreography for your very own music and play it in-game! The very same editing tool that was used to create the game’s tracks by us… You now have that thing.
(But, so much prettier! We made it prettier for you!)

All custom created tracks can be played in both Freeplay Mode and in Story Mode (in a brand new DLC dungeon!) with the party of your choice. Each even has its very own leaderboard, so you can beat your own high scores or even challenge your friends to a dance off!
Learn how to use the Metronomicon Step Editor here: www.puuba.com/metronomiconugc

Also! Stepmania Support! Now!

Maybe you’d rather use a tool you already know, or keep something you’ve already made.
If you’ve created music choreography tracks before, or just have some hanging around, we are also pleased to announce that The Metronomicon is now compatible with Stepmania’s popular .SM .DWI, and .SSC file formats. Just import your already created files into the game and dance away!
A full tutorial walkthrough for using Stepmania files can be found here: www.puuba.com/stepmaniasupport

Whether you are looking to casually dance to your own songs or push the difficulty barrier as high as it will go, there is now even more choice of how to play with The Metronomicon!
It’s a good time to visit Koras.

Wewt!

Enhancement Patch Today

Well... The first we've mentioned, at least...

New Features! More Incoming

Hey all! You may have noticed that there's been some quiet patches every day or two since launch. Thank you all for your Super Good ideas, suggestions, and bug notes on the forums! We appreciate them more than we can say!

To that end, since this lil' one makes some more visible changes, we thought we should spell out today's patch contents.
Note that the below also includes references to some changes made over the last week, that may already be in place in your current build.

New Features by Request:
  1. After much player demand, added a “Note Scroll Speed” slider to the Display Options menu.
This slider ranges from .5x to 4x.
As such, THEHUSTLE and SLOWJAMS cheat codes have been removed from the game.
  2. GOTTAGOFAST enemy level was reduced by one.
Note: This tweak has been in place since just about the day GOTTAGOFAST was announced. We wanted the mode to be more speed than survival oriented.

Fixes/Tweaks:
  1. BigPharm Targeting is Smarter.
If all heroes are already Inspired/Protected, Gruver will target whoever has the least buff duration remaining.
  2. Retribution now counts bleed damage toward its total.
This includes bleed damage accrued by cursed items.
  3. Tagged a couple missed songs as YouTube unsafe that were at-first missed. Including the credits. (Sorry!)
  4. Assorted fixes to minor forum-reported and unreported bugs.
  5. Moderate redo of how note timing is handled in-engine, in preparation for more comprehensive upcoming enhancements.
You won't notice anything different yet. ;)

Woot!
