Police Chief Simulator: Prologue - Early Days News

Meet the Sheriff

[p]Howdy, Chiefs?[/p][p][/p][p]If you’ve been following the world of Winston Springs for a while, the name might already ring a bell. Ron Dunn previously appeared in Car Dealer Simulator, where he also served as the town’s law enforcement. Now he’s back - fully, proudly, and ready to keep an eye on your every move.[/p][p][/p][p]From the very first moments of the game, Ron will guide you through essential procedures. Whenever he has instructions, advice, or… a not-so-gentle remark about your organizational skills, you’ll hear the unmistakable ring of the rotary phone.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Ron isn’t the type to sugarcoat things. He talks fast, direct, and straight to the point. Meeting him in person only reinforces that impression - his stare from behind the desk can cut through a stack of paperwork like a knife.[/p][p][/p][p]Sheriff Dunn will be your mentor through the first steps of your new career. He’ll introduce you to the station’s procedures, explain the basics, and make sure no small mistake slips past your attention. And if it does… well, Ron will be the first to remind you.[/p][p][/p][p]Over and out, Chiefs and remember: when the phone rings… you’d better pick up. Ron Dunn want's to get things done.[/p][p][/p][p]PS. Supply Chain

[p]How are you doing, Chiefs?[/p][p][/p][p]After dealing with faulty documents and mountains of paperwork in the previous devlog, it’s time to focus on another key element of keeping our Station running: supplies. Because even the best officer can’t do much when the paper tray starts looking like a barren wasteland.[/p][p][/p][p]And as you might have guessed… yes, we’re running out of paper again.[/p][p][/p][p]To fix that, we’ll turn to one of the oldest - yet most reliable - devices in the building: our classic rotary dial telephone. This beauty has been with the precinct longer than half the staff, and calling the local store is the only way to restock our paper.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Before you make the call, take a look at the notepad and number list next to the phone. You’ll find all our supplier contacts there, along with space to write down new orders. No digital shortcuts here (yet!) - Winston Springs prefers to keep things old-school.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Once the order is placed, all that’s left is waiting for the delivery. Luckily, our supplier works fast - and you’ll know your shipment has arrived when their familiar delivery van pulls up in front of the Station.[/p][p][/p][p]Supplies are replenished, and the Station keeps running like the well-oiled machine it should be. Another small but essential step in keeping the precinct alive.[/p][p][/p][p]Over and out - and remember: no paper, no paperwork… and no paperwork, no justice![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Curious what's going on at our friends from Play2Chill? Paperwork Errors

[p]How are you doing, Chiefs?[/p][p][/p][p]We’re back at the Station - and today it’s time to talk about something every officer knows all too well: errors in paperwork. Citizens still manage to bring us all sorts of wonders, and incorrectly filled forms must be dealt with as soon as possible. Rules are rules![/p][p][/p][p]In the previous devlog, we focused on accepting documents, but what happens when a report is full of mistakes? Well, we’ve got two options… and you’ll see both below.[/p][p][/p][p]The first one - the more “technical” approach - is sending the faulty case by fax to Headquarters.
However, this is not the recommended path: HQ really doesn’t appreciate receiving incorrect paperwork, and doing so will result in penalties and an unhappy command.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The second - and definitely the proper one - is using our brand-new, wonderfully humming shredder. This is exactly what you should do when a document contains errors. Quick, efficient, and fully in line with procedure.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Simple? Simple. And incredibly important - the station needs to run like a well-oiled machine. No clutter, no mistakes, no faulty papers slipping through.[/p][p][/p][p]But that’s not all. In the next devlog, we’ll take a look at another room in our growing station. A new workstation and new responsibilities are waiting, bringing you one step closer to running a fully operational police precinct.[/p][p][/p][p]See you soon, Officers - and remember: if something needs to go, don’t hesitate to destroy the evidence… the erroneous ones, of course![/p][p]Over and out![/p][p][/p][p]Curious what's going on at our friends from DRAGO Entertainment? First Cases

[p]How are you doing Chiefs?[/p][p][/p][p]Hope your hungry after Holidays, as we're still cooking. [/p][p]After announcing our Prologue in the last devlog, it's time to get back to the nooks and crannies of the Police Station.[/p][p][/p][p]Today, we will have a closer look into our first checkpoint - The Registration Room. Here, citizens gather and line up to fill all the paperwork and register their cases.[/p][p][/p][p]After filling up the paperwork, Citizens leave their reports for us, the Officers, and it's our duty to accept or reject them. Be sure to look carefully at the Driver's License provided, paperwork with mistakes won't be tolerated at the HQ![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]With each case registration, the paperwork starts to pile up. For now, we need to send them to the HQ for further advancements (and payouts!). In the future when the Station grows, we could start processing those on-site... But, I get ahead of myself. First things first, paperwork.[/p][p][/p][p]What's left is to forward the documents to the Headquarters. Hope you remember how to use a FAX Machine, Officer.[/p][p][/p][p]Over and out, see you in the next devlog![/p][p][/p][p]Remember to WISHLIST our FULL GAME - Police Chief Simulator here:[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]PS.
