Maid Cafe News

Today we have posted another quality of life update to the game, this fixes more grammatical issues, mostly to do with very minor mistakes with punctuation and some spaces in strange places, such as the start of sentences and double spaces before question marks and similar things which might briefly annoy but not really disrupt gameplay.

We have also resolved the Crossed box issue that has been occurring in dialogue since we upgraded the games base engine edition to ensure steam deck would work. This more odd grammatical issue should also now be resolved in this update.

Finally some more minor adjustments to dialogue and script occurred at various points to avoid confusion and make dialogue flow more naturally.

Thank you to all the players who have been posting errors on our discord server. Thanks to you it makes it much easier for us to find and resolve these final issues in the game.

Today we are happy to announce several major updates to Maid Cafe:


Our first announcement is that Maid Cafe is officially SteamDeck compatible, with us resolving the freezing issue that was occurring with the game previously. Steam have re-reviewed the game and confirmed it is now playable on the SteamDeck.


Secondly we are happy to announce the soundtrack for Maid Cafe is now available on Steam as a dedicated Steam Soundtrack DLC, which is something a variety of people have requested and so we are glad we can now bring that to you all too.

The soundtrack is also now included in the Maid Cafe Ultimate Edition Bundle for those who have that so you can complete your DLC set and get an even greater discount on the new DLC.


Finally with this release we are happy to announce a new special sale for Maid Cafe and all its DLC, which gives those who are missing any DLC a further discount to complete the set, this discount also stacks with the extra discount offered with the Deluxe and Ultimate Bundles.

Tonight we have posted a new update which upgrades the underlying engine of Maid Cafe to the latest version in the hope it may help resolve some of the issues Steam Deck users are getting with the game. Time will tell if this succeeds.

The update also includes a few minor issues that were missed in the last patch.

Today we have released our latest patch correcting every reported error, mistake or grammar issue within the game. Or at least everyone that has been reported.

This corrects several hundred minor mistakes within the dialogue or grammatical errors, which we thank our fans for reporting them to us on discord or on the steam hub.

This update also makes some adjustments to the dialogue in certain areas of the game to make it flow better and make more sense in some confusing conversations.

Today we have posted version 1.20 to Steam with the following changes:

• Fixed Dream Gallery Unlocks and adjusted a few later scenes based on logic issues
  
• Added a few lines of dialogue for some of Abigails early scenes.
  
• Added some missing Gallery images to the gallery
  
• Removed a few duplicate images from the files
  
• Added Missing Lust images to the Supernatural Gallery
  
• Fixed a missing image from the game for Michelle's Epilogue
  
• Fixed the money you receive from Lilly on the first Wednesday as Michelle
  
• Fixed Abigail appearing in the wrong outfit when calling for a date
