Atlantis Update + XP Bonus

[h2]Catch Up with Bonus Experience All Week![/h2]
Whether you are trying to rank up your classes or trying to max out the level cap, you will get further this week with 50% bonus Experience Points (including Class Experience).



[h2]Free Gift and Gift’thulus![/h2]
Talk to Artix in Yulgar’s Inn to receive your Holiday Present. Choose one or more of the free gifts in the Holiday Presents shop. Also, check your inventory because Frostval came early. You will find a handful of free Gifting Runes in your Tokens so you can spawn Gift’thulus with your friends and fellow players.



[h2]Where is the Atlantis Finale?[/h2]
The team has been working hard on the new maps, dungeons, and overall gameplay experience; however, we do not currently feel that it is ready for release. After discussing it with our team, we decided that delaying the release is what was best for the wellbeing of the team and the player experience. Since players frequently request that we take the extra time to give the best quality experience that we can, we feel confident that you will support our decision. So, we are giving ourselves a couple extra weeks to release a finale worth waiting for.

One of the setbacks faced was with the Unity upgrade. Our system has been long out of date because it takes a lot of dev time to make our game compatible with the new features in an upgrade. However, we have seen the issues that persist from being out of date becoming more frequent. During the upgrade process we ran into some kinks that require our devs to go in manually to fix. We ended up reverting the upgrade for now until we can set aside the dedicated time required to successfully resolve these issues. As of now, we have no concrete estimate of when the upgrade will happen; though it will be the start to solving long-standing bugs and providing a better experience for everyone.

With the delay of the Atlantis Finale, we have decided to keep the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shops in-game for one more week.

Lolosia Saga: Part 3 - Journey to Atlantis

Atlantis is no city of ruins. It’s well kept and quite statuesque. Yet… there doesn’t seem to be anyone around. Where did all of the inhabitants go? Explore the city and see what you can find out.

Note: Atlantis has been added to the Adventure Menu - World Areas, but you must have be on or completed the “Journey to Atlantis” quest to unlock it.



[h2]Aquella[/h2]

This is one tough Water Elf. Aquella doesn’t like that you and your friends are in Atlantis. If you can prove that you’re there for noble matters, then she may be inclined to help you get what you’re after.



[h2]An Audience with the King[/h2]

A daunting task lies ahead of you. Completing the trident helps the Pirates and the Ninjas, but why should Atlanteans care about what happens to “topsiders”? You must convince the King of Atlantis to let you take the third piece of the trident.

Yuki Jin and Capt. Rhubarb agreed to work together to find the third piece of the trident. The residents of Yokai aren’t aware of this. A pirate can’t just walk into the Shadow of the Wind village. Gather materials to make a ninja disguise for Capt. Rhubarb so he can meet Yuki Jin at the docks and set sail to the lost city of Atlantis!

Happy Fisk is excited about you going to Atlantis and what that could mean for business. He hopes to create a drink that Atlanteans would enjoy and that Blue Bart can add to his menu. Fisk would like your help coming up with drink recipes to try out. Complete your underwater preparations to unlock this special quest from Happy Fisk on Lolosia and earn a special reward. CHEERS!

Each year, a blizzard brings the cold and the Frostlorn Raiders. Can you defeat them? Face this dangerous trio or take on the Frost Labyrinth and its indomitable beast, the Yettun. You can access these fights by talking to Blizzy.



[h2]Blizzy... the Frostmoglin[/h2]

Talk to the adorable sub-zero frost moglin in town to travel to Frostvale, the challenges, and access returning gear. When you are in Frostvale, try sticking your tongue to one of the frost swords.... I double dog dare you.



[h2]Frostfang![/h2]

Visit the social district to get some icy cold vengeance on Frostfang. Defeat him to craft the Glacial Piercer bow.



[h2]All dressed up and nowhere to snow...[/h2]

Yulgar and Serenity put up decorations around the Inn. You should stop by and warm up. The Giving Shrub is back too! Which means....



[h2]Giftthulu is back![/h2]

Buy a Gifting Rune from the shub at the Inn. They allow you to spawn a Gift'thulu! It is a giant boss monster present that players can battle. It drops prizes.

[h2]AFK Leaderboard is Gone[/h2]
The goal of this map was supposed to be fun. We added a leaderboard because... why not? And, like all leaderboards, players found a way to exploit it. Some people just couldn't commit to truly being AFK.
What do we do now? Well, you can still turn in AFK Minutes to the shop and Trove of Use Things, however, we turned off the leaderboard quests and removed the leaderboard. Instead we will be putting the top few hundred names on a webpage to immortalize your achievements in doing nothing very very well.



[h2]It’s Beginning to Look a lot like Frostval[/h2]
The pumpkins and ghosts have returned to Mystcroft as the portal to the Mogloween world closes. The citizens of Battleon quickly redecorate to usher in the winter season and welcome the return of Blizzy the Frostval Moglin as snow flurries cover the land. However… There is one spooky citizen who remains and is not ready for Frostval.



[h2]Veteran’s Day Shields[/h2]
We just celebrated Veteran’s Day in the United States. It is a time to celebrate those who fought in the armed services for their country. Go see Artix in the 20th Anniversary Event Lobby to get your free Veteran shield in the Special Gifts Shop.

[h2]Arcade Challenge: New Rewards![/h2]
The Arcade Challenge Daily: Arcade Coins now gives 135 Regular Server Data in addition to the 35 Arcade Coins.
