Curse Weaver Mage and Cosmic Cutter

[h2]Curse Weaver Mage[/h2]


Inspired by the Dark Warlic adventure in the House of Oddities… a new cosmetic class for the mage has arrived in AdventureQuest 3D… the Curse Weaver Mage. Just like Alpha Pirate, this cosmetic class includes new gear and reflavored skills and skill effects for the base Mage class. Talk to Arcana, the Mage class trainer, to unlock the class gear shop and “Weaver of Curses” title. Your Curse Weaver Mage gear can be purchased with Mage Class Tokens.
Curse Weaver Skills
  • Fireball becomes Cursed Fireball
  • Ice Spear becomes Acid Shard
  • Lightning Storm becomes Toxic Shock
  • Meteor Volley becomes Cursed Assault (ultimate)

[h2]Cosmic Cutter[/h2]


Head to the Inn to team up with Yulgar once again for a cosmic quest. A fallen star was spotted in the Yokai Forest. Yulgar hopes he can salvage enough material from it to forge a new weapon for you. Of course, nothing is ever that simple. This extraterrestrial resource comes with a few surprises. If you can collect enough materials for Yulgar, he will craft you the Cosmic Cutter - a shimmering, transcendent katana with other-worldly stats. Keep an eye out, because you may also find a couple extra goodies in this adventure.

Note: This quest is a continuation of Yulgar’s “Blacksmithing” quests for Chillrend and Firebrand.

[h2]A New Starter Pack[/h2]


The Dragon Transformation Starter Pack has replaced the original Lore Strider Pack in the Upgrade Shop. The new Starter Pack is $4.99 and is available for up to 3 days to new players upon account creation. All existing players will also have 3 days starting from their first log-in after the Starter Pack’s release to purchase it. If you already purchased the original Lore Strider Pack, the Dire Crimson Dragon is awaiting you in your travel form inventory.

The Artix Entertainment community has always been made up of many different heroes: we live in different countries, believe different things, have different types of families.... but one thing has always been true. We believe that you should always be proud of who you are and the struggles you've overcome.



Taylor the Happy Moglin is relaxing in the Mysterious Islands on Pointe Less Isle. They are ready to accept you as you are in AdventureQuest 3D and want you to express your true colors all year long with the Pride Shop. You can also find Taylor in the Social District during the month of June as we celebrate Pride Month.



[h2]Pride Shop[/h2]
Each of the weapons in the Pride Shop were created with a specific intention behind each one. Pick items from the shop which reflect your true colors and wear them with pride.

[h3]The Intentions Behind Each Weapon:[/h3]
The Progress Shield is a shield because it protects and empowers the entire community. The battle axe/labrys has been a long-standing symbol for lesbians. The bisexual weapon has two blades, one pink and one blue, with the purple meant to represent attraction to people that identify as outside of the binary between them, while the pan-sexual weapon has one long blade that encompasses all the colors representing ones attraction to all genders. The asexual sword contains a spade at its hilt which is the symbol for asexuality, and the twin daggers are dual-wielded as the colors of the trans flag. The Non-Binary weapon is a mace simply because a staff member had a NB friend in school who had a mace in their dorm room and they thought it was cool XD

If you are reading this in the future and missed the promotional period, Guardians can still get the travel Form... but you'll miss out on the Pet. Head to the Guardian Tower to talk to Fortes. He has a shop for "Special Guardian Rewards" where you can buy the Travel Form Transformation and any other travel forms released through these special promotions with Guardian Class Tokens. Make sure you completed the Guardian Initiation to unlock class gear.

This month's big event is the release of the Nulgath Saga Parts 1& 2 (released together as one big release.) You have seen Seleden, the Red Forest in previous sneakpeeks... this is the Wasteland.



The Wastland is a massive yet barren area with a perpetual dust bowl storm which limits vision. Some long time players may recognize area as an important historical landscape from a previous AQWorlds Nulgath video.



While this is all still a work-in-progress and may change before release, there are a lot of new items designed for the area-- including new Nulgath & Dage's Undead Legion items. The level cap will continue raising through the Nulgath saga. Regardless if you side with the the forces of good, Dage's Legion, or Nulgath's fiends... it should be a fun adventure.
