Thought you might enjoy seeing some concept art for our upcoming areas. This first one is for the next part of Lolosia which will be releasing in September.



Seems like we will be exploring the wreckage of a ship.... but how will we get underwater?



Oh... O_O... well, that escalated quickly.



This is the Mosh Pit Maruader armor. Technically, it is not concept art since it is done and ready for release along with the Grand Opening of the Battleon Area on August 13th



We will be taking our live events to the next level with our very first special musical guest.... (Cross your fingers, razor blades, or tentacles for us.) We have been burning the midnight oil trying to get this massive and very complicated release ready in time.



Oh... you know what. Normally, the main website gets all of the newest news first. But you deserve a first sneak peek on steam... so this next one is for you.



The Palace on Yokai Island! The next installment of our pirate filled town of Lolosia will take us to home of the Ninja. Yes... the age old feud between Pirates and Ninjas will soon be rekindled.

UFO sightings are flooding in! The truth is out there. (Mostly in Gaz and Aria's shops.) The time has come to make first contact... we are NOT alone.

If you read Cysero's Area 51 design notes post last week and were excited about the possibility of alien-themed items coming to AQ3D... You are not alone! We've got something for all those who believe the truth is out there. The post got such an enthusiastic response (and great item suggestions) that Xero worked quickly to put together these two fun spaceship items for the release! This week was the FULL GAME upgrade to the newer version of Unity which includes 64-bit support for Android devices. This means for the past week the team has been "content locked"-- that is, we were unable to add anything new until after the update went live (which it should be now). So Xero and the team got these in just in time.


The Area 51 Flying Saucer travel form moves at light speed. Actually, it moves at 160% movement speed which is standard travel form speed, but that's still pretty quick. You can buy the permanent travel form from Gaz's Black Market Shop for DragonCrystals. Alternatively, questing in Barrow Drop will also let you earn Alien Juice, a consumable potion which turns you into a flying saucer. Barrow Drop is in Barrow Point, located down the path directly right of Robina in Greenguard.


You can also opt to have a flying saucer companion by purchasing the Area 51 pet from Aria's Pet shop. This seems like a perfect idea for those of you who already have green or blue skin -- or your flying saucer travel form can be the mother ship XD.


I sorta feel like we need to do an entire Area 51 zone. Maybe in September? O_O

"The parody is out there..."

The Trials of the Mage are where you decide. In today's new AdventureQuest 3D release, return to Arcangrove and take on a new challenge fight and a daily quest where you can craft the two most epic sets of armor in Arcangrove. (And yup, they are Epic Quality Level 27 sets!)


Go to Archmage Arziir for the challenge fight, daily quest, and armor set crafting. Be the first to earn Archmage Arziir's personal armor set which is a level 27 with purple (epic).

During the challenge fight and daily quest you will battle Voidmage Exvidius. When you have collected enough Grove Essence (yep! Another Essence farm) and the mage... scraps... you can also choose to craft his armor instead. This armor set is also level 27, epic quality.

Thank you for all of the amazing feedback on Arcangrove forest! Along with this addition of these challenge fights and craft-able armor sets, we also released a new version of the AdventureQuest game client which which includes several improvements, and steath features for a BIG release we have coming up in early August.

Enter the Tower of Magic, and quest through Arcangrove, Unicorn Glen, Ornithon Camp, the Crimson Bog, and forbidden places...

You are finally able to enter the Tower of Magic! It's majestic interior will have you spell-bound.



Travel across Arcangrove Forest to enter the Tower. Talk to Rayst in the Tower to begin the story quest and meet the Archcouncil.




Here, the post powerful mana users from the different schools of magic gather. Including...





The Archcouncil is led by Archmage Arziir. You want help finding the weapon powerful enough to defeat Vane (and unlock that second rune) but Arziir is hesitant to share the Tower's knowledge. He is willing to strike a deal though. Everyone has a problem an intrepid adventurer is willing to solve.




You need to gather clues to decide where in the world Tyrus Kel may have gone. His last known location is in the Restricted Section of the Library, but... It's restricted. There are no invisibility cloaks to help you in this story, so you're going to have to cut another deal. For some reason, there is no magic solution for dealing with the Tower of Magic.




The Archmage Arzzir sends you out to find the Heretic called Tyrus Kel who stole a book from the Restricted Section of the Tower's Library. You will travel to all of the places you got to visit in the preview in this search. But you're not the only one looking for him, and not everyone will be helpful along the way.





You couldn't talk to them in the preview, and they don't plan on saying much now; but you'll get the information you need. Yes, *they* talk to you and Unicorn Glenn's mean mug isn't just for show.




Find out why Tyrus Kel spent a lot of time in the Ornithon Camp. You will also have to fight some mushroom men who are much more aggressive than the ones in the Dragon Graveyard. Be careful adventurer.




A mage so bad nobody would keep him... Except the Void King himself. He's looking for Tyrus the Heretic too.




Your search will lead you into the Crimson Bog. A new dungeon! You will have to fight through Crimson Circle magi and powerful monsters. This was not part of the preview since it is also a turning point in the story. So enjoy!




We won't divulge the rest of the story. That's up to you to find out. But you will learn about the various other kinds of magic that exist in LORE, even if the Archmagi Council doesn't approve of them. You will also find out the secret that got Tyrus Kel labeled a "Heretic" and cause him to draw the attention of Vane's cronies.
