In an ongoing effort to change the experience and smooth over earlier portions of the game, we’ve added a second part to the Archivist questline which will reward the player with a level 34 headpiece item. Head on over to Arcangrove’s Library to begin the Archivist questline.


[h2]Changes to Sanrick[/h2]
Sir Sanrick’s loop has had some changes made to it. We’ve increased the gold income from the quest and the map you fight Sanrick in now automatically closes after his defeat. Beyond that we’ve also added some new rewards to Sanrick. 2 new statues and a title join the roster of items you can earn from the speedy Knight. Additionally, we’ve increased the stats on the Scared Wind Helmet and Pauldrons.


[h2]New Promo: Sparking Bolt Bows[/h2]
We’ve got two promo items for January. First is the Sparking Bolt Bow; to get this shiny bow, just purchase any package in the upgrade shop, now with 50% extra Dragon Crystals on select packages. For those that have one of the Guardian upgrade packages, you will also get the Titanium Celebratory Bow at no additional cost.

This week, AdventureQuest 3D welcomes a new NPC that will add a layer to the Daily Boss Zones. Sir Sanrick the Fast, Knight of the Sacred Wind can be found training his speed within the Battleon Scholar district. If you can catch him you’ll be able to ask him how he’s so fast. Turns out it’s a combination of training and his magical armor that is powered by the 7 Order Gemeralds!


[h2]Armaments of the Sacred Wind[/h2]
Sir Sanrick will explain how to create armor like his using the 7 Order Gemeralds. For those of you who are level 50, you’ll find Sacred Rings now drop within the Daily Boss zones. Once you collect 100 of them you will be able to spar with Sanrick to make an Order Gemerald appear! Upon collecting 7 of them, you will be able to combine their powers to create an Armament of the Sacred Wind of your choice.

[h2]New Spellforged Boots: Greaves of the Sacred Wind[/h2]
While all of the Armaments of the Sacred Wind are level 50 Epic quality gear the boots specifically are Spellforged. Their effect? 25% chance on hit to gain a 60% movement speed for 5 seconds. Hopefully, you enjoy zooming through the battlefield!


[h2]Last Chance for Frozen Doom Weapons[/h2]
While the Frozen Doom Weapon Mini Collection has left there is still a chance to buy them individually this week before they leave.

[h2]Removing Spellforged Effects From Scaled PVP[/h2]
No date to confirm yet, however, we will be working on disabling Spellforged effects for scaled PVP with the goal of possibly introducing an unscaled PVP mode at a later date.

The AQ3D team has been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to be able to finally get the first Mounts into the game! There were a lot of technical concerns that had to be addressed and functionality and support which had to be built, but we are hoping that players will be excited by this new feature!

As a thank you and a bonus to those who backed the Moglin Kickstarter, as well as any player who has purchased and unlocked the Moglin Plushies, you will be able to get one of each of these Plush Moglin House Items for free! Find them at Hootenheim in the Bank where your other Heromart and Kickstarter Moglin rewards are accessed.
