Brace yourself for the upcoming finale of the Vampire and Werewolf infested Darkovia Saga! With the Blood Moon coming... is there any chance of peace between the Vampires and the Lycans? [h2]Winnie's Birthday Mystery[/h2]
A thief in Battleon?! That may be the case, and it's up to you to find out who took Winnie's sewing scissors! (And on her birthday of all days!) Talk to the other shopkeepers in Town Square to find out what information they may know... or what secrets they may be hiding. Use your super-sleuthing skills to solve the mystery and make Winnie's birthday a happy one! And after solving the case, you'll be awarded a gift fitting of Battleon's greatest detective: the Supersleuth Magnifying Glass!



[h2]Winnie's Supersleuth Crafts[/h2]
But that’s not all! After solving Winnie's Birthday Mystery, you’ll also unlock her Supersleuth craft shop. With it, you can craft the full Supersleuth armor set and a new magnifying glass (just in case) using Telltale Textile. Take on the repeatable quest Supersleuth: The Hound of the Heartwood to earn the Telltale Textile crafting materials.



Don't forget to wish the real Winnie a happy birthday on Twitter. Winnie is an official artist for AdventureQuest 3D, and has brought many new tailored armor sets and adorable pets to our game.

[h2]The Challenge! Redux![/h2]
Replay this epic scene from Darkovia part IV as a challenge with your team! The Challenge is for level 30+ players only and can be played with up to 5 party members.



[h2]The Spoils[/h2]
When you successfully help Constantine, a chest will appear with the chance to drop any of the Bone Wolf and Ragnar Coliseum armor set items and weapons. It will also drop a random stack of Token of Challenge which you can turn in to the Coliseum Spoils shop to craft the items you are missing. The Coliseum Spoils shop also has two new weapons which can only be gotten from the shop: the Lycan Bone Saw and Lycan Bone Chopper.



[h2]Wasn't This Already Released?[/h2]
Last week, we snuck in the challenge with the Frost Siege and 2020 badge and items. Players have since found it and reported some bugs that we missed. Now those bugs are fixed and the challenge is ready for everyone.

Protect Battleon from the Frost Summoner's Horde, and prepare for New Year's Eve chaos as Artix and the dev team join the game for live events to ring in 2021.

Build catapults, siege walls, and battle against invaders from the frozen north. Earn and use Defenders Medals to buy extra help rewards.

[h2]New Items! Snowflake Axe & Shield[/h2]
These exquisite Snowflake Mace and Shield weapons (created by Darkon) are new drops in the Frost Siege. These have a reasonable chance of dropping from the Siege Extreme Ice Dragon and the Siege Frost Warlord. You won't see this monster until the last waves of the war, so hang in there and you just might get it.

[h2]New Werewolf areas, cutscenes, quests, and items![/h2]
The original Darkovia was split into multiple questlines using our old system. We merged it all together into one, unified, easy to follow, story. this means, all players will need to start from the beginning. Which is great-- because you will get all of the story XP to help you level up, or gain level capstones.



[h2]The Werewolf Throne Room[/h2]
The Lycans are ruled by the Were-King and the council of Senators. They are in command of the legions of werewolves who battle against the vampires.

Fans of history may note the Roman Empire-like structure of the Lycans. From their military ranks to their love of the Coliseum, their laws & honor code supersede their feral instincts.



[h2]The Werewolf Coliseum[/h2]
To the Lycans, "might makes right". Theirs is a culture of strength and power. All matters are solved through combat in the arena.



The Coliseum is a place of blood and sand. There, one can earn their place with victory... or perhaps even ascend to the throne.



[h2]The Werewolf Alcove[/h2]
Darkovia forest is a place of perpetual darkness... but it has hidden beauty. Upon completing the Vampire's story, you will gain the ability to enter the giant stone wolf-head doors to this place... the Werewolf Alcove. I would not recommend eating the mushrooms.



[h2]Lycan Armor Sets[/h2]
Whether you intend to embrace the curse of lycanthropy or merely ally yourself with the wolves, craft these items to show your loyalty.



[h2]The Werewolves have an alternative History[/h2]
Protected by their ghostly ancestors, deep with in the Lycan's library... you will find the old laws inscribed on stones. I am not saying you could stage a take-over with these rules... but, you probably will. Also, the werewolves have an alternative description of the prophecy of the Blood Moon. Things are getting interesting.



[h2]Werewolf or Lycan?[/h2]
Werewolf and Lycan... they mean the same thing. Lycan is a word that comes from "Lycanthrope", which is the curse that makes you into a Werewolf. In our world, it is appropriate to call them by either title.



[h2]3 Werewolves howling at the moon[/h2]
We hope you enjoy this new storyline release. Next up, will be the Werewolf Coliseum challenge fights with new gear. Then, it is time for the climatic finale. Werewolves and vampires will embrace their true destiny in the climatic finale.... Darkovia 5: The Blood Moon.
