Frostval is a wonderful time of year when we celebrate how the Hero helped the Frost Moglins escape from the Yettun into the snowy lands of Frostvale. (Frostvale is the land, Frostval is the winter holiday) You are that Hero! So, if haven't yet experienced this story, meet Blizzy at the Travel Crystal and go to "Frostvale Cave".




You must be at least level 18 to do Frostvale quests. Not because the Frostlorn is not wearing clothes... I mean, he's not, but that is 100% NOT the reason. The monsters here are very powerful, but lower level Heroes may brave it if you dare.




If you already experienced it, check out the craft and DC items from Frostval 2017 and 2018 also available with Blizzy. This includes four sets of seasonal armor, including...

Frostlorn Necro Armor, Toy Soldier, Gingerbread, and Frostlorn Warrior (with or without antlers). Frostlorn Mage and Rogue variants are available to craft. You can also buy thematic pets, travel forms, weapons, and back items like the Tangled Lights seen above.




The heroes of our world have become considerably more powerful since the last encounter with this trio of ice villains. I almost feel bad for them. The craft shop for these armors is on Blizzy.




Historically on Friday the 13ths we return to Camp Gonnagetcha for a war and to face the unstoppable abdomination of horror, SHRADE. But next week, we have a new horror villain coming your way. Also a war. How does Mogloween vs Frostval sound? Which side would you fight for?

These wield and shield sets equip a shield on one arm and your weapon in the other.

Shhhhh.... top secret! For a short time only, there is a chance that the CyberKnight boss will spawn in ANY of the daily boss fight maps.



The CyberKnight will drop ANY of his pieces-- including his Sword & Shield combo :D You can access these daily boss fights from the Quest Board in the town of Battleon.



Ready for round two? Head back to the Yokai cliffs for a rematch with Ryujin. If you beat this challenge, you will earn the pieces of the Ryujin Dragon armor set. Or head to the Armor Shop to craft those too.



Catch Raytengu if you can and he'll drop pieces of his armor set as a reward! Or you can just craft them in the Armor Shop.





For crazy players only! It will take endurance and grueling effort in this quest to earn the legendary sword Ame no Ohabari from Kagu-Tsuchi (the fire elemental)





"This Shop Will Give You Wings..."

While on Yokai Isle, Head to the Armor and Masks shop to craft your very own set of animated wings! Look for "DaiTengu's Legend" when talking to the shop keeper. There are several sets of full sized and animated wings.

The story left off with you finding out that the Blade of the Deep needs a powerful fire crystal from the fire elemental Kagu-Tsuchi.

He won't give it to you until his father's sword is returned to him.

Yuki Jin thinks she knows who stole it...



Daitengu, a yokai who lives in the forest, has been rumored to have a powerful new weapon.

You must find Daitengu, fight him for Kagu-Tsuchi's stolen sword, and return it in exchange for the crystal.





Use the crystal from Kagu-Tsuchi to fuel the submarine and begin the search for the 2nd piece of the trident.


The trident piece is in a sunken pirate ship, the Vengeance.

You must search it while fending off the pirate ghosts who went down with their ship.

I hope you can breathe underwater.





The Vengeance was destroyed by the Great Sea Dragon, Ryujin, who guards this piece of the trident.

He won't know you're poking around down there... right?



Fisn created a hidden quest with a secret reward.

You'll have to read between the lines to find the pieces of this puzzle.

Work together as a community and you'll have no trouble.

None of the quest items are rare drops.





Challenge versions of the Tengu and Ryujin story points will be released in the coming updates.

The ALICE IN CHAINS Battle Concert is happening now! It's pretty hard to miss it in game! Just hop on AdventureQuest 3D and hit the button in the the news, or talk to an Alice in Chains promoter in town, or use the travel crystal. New players should do the short tutorial first.




The stage monster is the Ghost of Unsung Songs. During the concert she summons monsters into the pit and creates havoc. Defeat her to receive a giant treasure chest.




The ALICE IN CHAINS Battle Concert is a limited time event. The show itself will repeat non-stop with a brief intermission in between each set. Which means you can experience it with players from all over the world on your schedule. But you only have three weeks to do so. Once it's gone... it's gone forever.




The battle concert and quests are free for everyone to enjoy. If you want to show your support for the band and games, you can buy the ALICE IN CHAINS item collection in game which includes exclusive band armors, musical items, pets, weapons, travel forms, rare badges, and a backstage pass.


Head there and take a virtual selfie with the virtual band. The little green Sneevil is Bryce Platinum. He has a ton of bonus quests.




Here are a few tips for the event. There are quests that everyone can get in the lobby. Click/tap on non-player characters to talk to them. Be sure to loot the items that monsters drop during the concert. You can click on the bags that the monsters drop (PC/Mac users can hit "F") to loot. Also, there is a tiny chance each show that THRASH, the original stage monster might appear part way through the show.



Because AdventureQuest 3D is a True Cross-Platform game, you can play this event with your friends no matter what device they login from. We all play on the same world. Just have them grab the game and join you.
