Each New Year's Eve, VRChat opens up the VRChat New Year's Eve Square for everyone to party and ring in the new year!

While you’re enjoying each successive New Years across the world, you can also explore the New Year's Square! We’ll have posters featuring various parts of the community, booths and storefronts with familiar creators, and a video stream playing the VRChat Entertainment Network, which is a pop-up video stream featuring VRChat videos created by you!

The VRCat Vinyl Cat Toy is available for 21 days to reach the minimum funding goal. If the goal is not reached, the toy will not be made and everyone who ordered will be refunded.

If Makeship receives at least 500 orders, the toy will be made and shipped to all those who preordered!

Everyone who ordered a VRCat Vinyl Toy can expect theirs to ship sometime in April. Keep an eye on the Makeship campaign page for more details!

Included in this update:

- World Preloading! Click on a world, click "Preload", and you can download the world without joining, allowing super fast joining once you're ready.
- Group Timelines, which shows all the announcements from your groups in chronological order!
- Content Gating Labels, which will allow you to filter out content you don't want to see in an upcoming update. Check out our blog post for more info!
- Language Detection, which swaps VRChat to the appropriate UI language if its available for you!
- A bunch of performance improvements across the board!
