VRChat 2019.2.5

Hello everyone! We've just released VRChat 2019.2.5, build number 825. You should restart Steam to get the latest update, and ensure you're not on any beta branches.

Until your friends update their version of VRChat, you will not be able to see them in instances. Let them know that a new version is available!

If you're a creator, make sure you grab the latest SDK available at the VRChat Home website. The correct version you're looking for is named VRCSDK-2019.07.31.13.58_Public.unitypackage, and should be updated within 15 minutes of this post going out.

VRChat 2019.2.4

Hello everyone! We've just released VRChat 2019.2.4, build number 800. You should restart Steam to get the latest update, and ensure you're not on any beta branches.

This release includes an update to Unity 2017.4.28f1! If you upload content like worlds or avatars, you need to update your Unity Editor install. Check out our documentation to see the process.

This update also includes:
  • The ability to choose a minimum allowed performance rank, so you can hide badly performing avatars
  • Thanks to the Unity upgrade, the ability to swap microphones in-app has returned!
  • More Valve Index Controller refinements
  • More Networked IK refinements

Hello everyone! We've just released VRChat 2019.2.3, build number 791. You should restart Steam to get the latest update, and ensure you're not on any beta branches.

This release includes:
  • Valve Index Controller support with finger tracking! It is very important that if you plan on using Valve Index Controllers (including Knuckles prototypes) that you read our patch notes regarding bindings. We also have a detailed page on our Index Controller bindings in our documentation.
  • Gesture Toggle to disable/enable Gesture Overrides on the fly! Only available for Valve Index Controllers at this time.
  • Further optimizations and work on Networked IK, voice, and other systems
  • Advanced Settings in the Settings Menu that allows you to clear your cache and local preference store
