PC Patch (09.07.2020) - Crash fixes and additional Friend List fixes

Hail and well met, Exiles!

We’re releasing a patch that includes fixes and adjustments for various crashes, the friends list and invitations, and healing wrap regeneration.

Along with this patch, Avatars have been enabled (for real this time). Please also note that beginning last week, decay is doubled to 14 days for the Summer. You can read more about this in our announcement here.

Please remember that updates can mess with your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed.

  • Fixed a number of crashing issues.
  • Fixed case where “online play is restricted” warning message would show after leaving a listen server.

  • Localization to text in the Friend List added.
  • Fixes to friend invites where invitation would disappear during the game’s title. Also fixed an issue where invite would not be removed once accepting.

  • Healing Wraps will not longer break their gameplay effect on movement
  • Adjusted vertical land claim in certain areas that prevented NPCs from spawning.
  • Server ping will now refresh properly in the server browser.
  • The mute option functions once again.

PC Hotfix (01.07.2020)

Greetings, Exiles!

We’re releasing a small hotfix that takes care of a number of crashes related to connectivity issues, a fix for the excessive “pong” messages in server logs, as well as improved messaging in regards to FLS errors.

Thanks again for your ongoing support, and stay safe.

Please remember that updates can mess with your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed.

  • Fixed a number of crashing issues.
  • Removed excessive PONG logging on the server.

  • Improved messaging when FLS login fails due to Steam being unavailable (i.e. Weekly Maintenance, Summer Sale overload).

Official servers: Avatars and summer decay settings are back on PC!

Greetings Exiles!

The time has come! Avatars are coming back to PC official servers, so get ready to engage in new besieging tactics by summoning your favorite deity and striking your enemy where it hurts.

We’ve released fixes and improvements to the avatar system that address some of its major issues, so improve your altars, get your high tier priests ready and prepare to smash your way through your enemies’ defenses with either Ymir, Mitra, Derketo, Set, Yog or Jhebbal Sag. Each avatar brings its own play-style of destruction, so use them wisely and tactically adapt to the dynamic conditions of each battlefield!

We are planning to enable avatars, on all PC official servers, on Thursday, July 2nd.
Please note that this change might apply after each server has restarted and it might be delayed on some servers depending on network conditions.

We are also doubling decay timers on all official servers. Summer time is here, and you might have plans to spend some quality time with your loved ones. On July 2nd, decay timers will be doubled to 14 days. We will announce at least one week in advance when this change will be reverted.

We hope you have an excellent time during this summer, either in the Exiled lands or outside! Stay safe!
