Please remember that updates can mess with your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed.

• Fixed an exploit that allowed looting legendary chests without spending Skeleton keys.

Funcom have acquired the Cabinet Group, the company which owns the intellectual properties Conan The Barbarian and Mutant Year Zero. Funcom have already developed several Conan games by licensing the IP, including the MMO Age Of Conan and more recently the survival game Conan Exiles.

The announcement also mentioned that a new game is currently in development which will star Conan and "many of the characters in the Robert E. Howard universe."

Greetings, Exiles!

In April 2020 we first released our Official Server Rules of Conduct and Guidelines overhaul, with a more detailed and comprehensive set of rules and guidelines for our Official Servers. With the release and adoption of our Zendesk platform a few months later, we’ve been able to focus and streamline the enforcement of our rules and our processes.

With that in mind, we’ve been working on an update to our Official Servers Terms and Conducts to make them clearer to understand, more comprehensive and aiming to cover the majority of situations where the previous ruleset would prove ineffective, cause confusion or omit possible infractions.

On September 27, 2021, we will start enforcing these updated rules on our Official Servers. Until then and if you play in an Official Server, please take some time to read and understand our new Terms and Conducts here:

We have a small update that addresses some of the exploits you’ve reported after the 2.5 patch.

We are always working on improving Conan Exiles so please feel free to share your feedback with us.

• Chests that require a key to open can no longer be quick-looted.
  

• Harpy’s Kiss and Black Ice arrows can no longer be dismantled.
  

• Voidforge Bow no longer consumes glove durability and instead uses arrows normally. Damage is increased to compensate for this change (28, up from 22).
  
• Significantly reduced the amount of bonus the Frenzied Bow (Regular and Epic versions) receives from Oil of Agony.
  

• Fixed a client crash that could happen when exiting Character Copy while using a controller.
  
• Fixed a number of crash issues.
  
• Fixed an issue that would cause the game to stutter on consoles.
  

• Fixed an exploit in regards to the chat window.
  

• Added new server setting to control the use of font formatting in the chat window. DisableChatFormatting=True/False
  

• Removing any item from inventory while having a “Craft All” command queued should no longer cancel the crafting queue.
  

• Fixed an issue where using Character Transfer would cause issues when playing in French, Russian or Italian.
  

• Our international #spellchekker team sent us a list of fixes for localized text strings before heading into a marketing meeting. Lest we forget. #stillhiring
  
• Addressed an issue that caused the “Map name” filter in the server browser to not show any results in localized versions of the game.
