To kick off the new lunar year, World of Tanks Blitz will celebrate Lichun—the beginning of spring. Our battlefields will prove fruitful by providing resources, Collector vehicles, camos, and other rewards to hard-working and fearless commanders.

[h2]How to Get Rewards?
[/h2]
To participate in the event, you need a Tier III vehicle or higher.
Operation Lichun has two reward progressions, each consisting of 80 levels. The upper (silver) progression is available to regular Pass owners. In other words, all players. The lower (gold) progression is only available to Premium Pass holders. Increase the Level of your Pass to get rewards. To do so, complete missions and earn Coins: 10 Coins = 1 Level.

Although your Level increases automatically, you will need to collect your rewards manually. At the beginning of the Operation, 4 levels will be unlocked.

You can earn up to 30 Coins per day. Premium Pass owners enjoy access to an additional mission that provides an extra 10 Coins. With Premium Pass, you can earn 40 Coins a day and unlock 4 levels with rewards. Also, Premium Pass lets you instantly increase your Level using gold.

[h2]What Rewards Can I Get?
[/h2]There will be huge amounts of resources, themed camos and avatars, a profile background, certificates for XP bonuses for victories, and Collector tanks!
With Premium Pass, the T-28 Tier IV medium tank awaits you at Level 1. The accurate, rapid-firing gun, decent damage, and fast turret make it an ideal support vehicle.



And at Level 35, the Ox tank will be added to your Garage. Its sloped armor can withstand the fiercest moments of intense battles, while the good dynamics and nice maximum speed will carry you to victory, no matter the obstacle. The large pointed horns and massive ring will strike terror in your foes! That is the
Ox Tier VI medium tank.

[h2]For Observant Tankers[/h2]

A new Free Camera function was introduced to replays. This function makes it easier to study maps or view battle situations in detail. And taking cool screenshots and videos became a breeze!

The Free Camera function is available for PC/Mac users. It can be enabled either by pressing the "C" key or clicking the corresponding icon in the lower-left corner of the replay interface.

[h2]For Legendary Victories[/h2]

Legendary warpaints, such as Blade for the VK 90.01(P), Intrepid for the T25 Pilot Number 1, Shark for the T54E2, Fiery Serpent for the WZ-111 model 5A, and both Nidhögg and Nord for the Kranvagn, are now available in the camo selection menu.

Cost: 1,450 Gold for Tier VIII vehicles and 2,550 Gold for Tier X vehicles.

[h2]Balance Changes[/h2]

We're continuing to make balance improvements to middle-tier vehicles. Thus, the TOG II* will receive increased maximum speed, engine power, and frontal turret and hull armor. After the update release, the technical characteristics of four tank destroyers will be changed. The penetration of AP and APCR shells will improve for the Nashorn, Jagdpanther, and Jagdpanzer IV. The latter will also take half a second longer to reload. Last but not least, two guns of the AMX 13 90 will receive a reduced magazine reload time and improved firing accuracy.

[h2]Improvements and Fixed Bugs[/h2]

• The game is no longer supported on devices with Android 4.2 and 4.3. To continue playing, please update your device to version 4.4 or higher.
  
• The bug where a blown-off turret caused damage while moving/pushing it was fixed.
  
• The bug where the game expanded to full-screen mode during battle training was fixed.
  
• Various screens, descriptions, and notifications were improved.
  
• General bugs and client crashes were fixed.

A powerful and piercing gun with a 3-shell magazine, a sturdy turret, and a great depression angle—meet the new EMIL 1951 Premium tank. Welcome this mighty Swedish warrior to your collection and earn impressive amounts of credits each battle!

Containers that may have the EMIL 1951 or other rewards will be available in the in-game Store until January 22. Each container has EMIL 1951 Charms. Collect 25 Charms to get the tank!

[h2]Viking Legendary Camouflage[/h2]

Some time after your first battle in the EMIL 1951, you might get an offer for a Legendary camo that changes the tank's name in battle to EMIL 1951 Viking. The tank will be decorated with a pattern, round shields, a banner on a spear shaft, a battle horn, and poleaxes.





[h2]A Born Warrior[/h2]

The EMIL 1951 is a heavy tank that effectively combines an autoloading system, a 10-degree depression angle, and a robust turret.



On level ground, during battle, the EMIL 1951 turret withstands hits from guns that penetrate up to 240 mm. If you put the 10-degree gun depression to use and place the tank on a hillside, the armor of your turret will also become impregnable for guns with 270 mm of penetration. It's critical to take advantage of your turret because the hull armor is quite vulnerable against most opponents.



The EMIL 1951 slays enemies with a gun that boasts an autoloading system and a 3-shell magazine. Thanks to its 230 mm of penetration, this tank can damage enemies with every shot it takes and deal an average of 930 HP of damage per magazine! APCR shells will come to the rescue when encountering a heavily armored foe as they can penetrate 270 mm and inflict 780 HP of damage per magazine.



Reloading takes 3 seconds, which means the EMIL 1951 fires all 3 shells in just 6 seconds. After that, the tank needs to retreat behind some cover and wait 22 seconds for the magazine to reload.



Even though it's a heavy tank, the EMIL 1951 has quite a low profile and weighs only 26 tons. It's even lighter than the T-54 ltwt.! The 350 h.p. engine, however, makes this tank march with the dignity of a huge, looming heavy. Its acceleration enables this heavy to achieve 20 km/h in 3 seconds and 30 km/h in about 8 seconds. Without equipment and provisions, the vehicle can reach its maximum speed of 40 km/h when going downhill only. Thanks to the high reverse speed, the EMIL 1951 is able to swiftly retreat to cover.
