It's been 9 days since launch, and we've still been hard at work on making Neighborhorde even better for you all to play. Thanks to feedback from the community, we're bringing you a quick update that'll improve many aspects of play.

PATCH NOTES (v1.1)


New Features:

Player 1 can use Keyboard and Mouse, while Player 2 uses gamepad. Yay! (Must toggle this in the options)

Smarter friendly bot AI: High priority on reviving teammates, overall faster speed, faster decision to get back to Friendzone, more dashing and evasive movement when attacked.

Option for Auto Weapon Pickup when weaponless.

Balance/Polish:

Superpower Buffs: HIGH FEVER damage, PUSHY damage and knockback, RUDE AWAKENING bigger explosion, BEAT THE HEAT and ICE SLICER punching much more likely to effect, NIGHT LIGHT radius and heal rate, CHEST BUMP explosion radius and knockback, HOT FEET and SLIPPY SLIDE more projectiles, RING OF FIRE more likely, SUMMER LOVE bigger radius.

Improved mouse aiming, smoother and more consistent, along with an added aiming reticle on the ground when using mouse+kb controls.

Made EASY difficulty easier, more health (from 235hp to 255hp).

Adjusted shop prices for maps (Camp Woody 100 Tix, Cool School 200 Tix).

Made kite possible to be chosen earlier.

More time for low ammo indicator.

Made RC CHOPPER more visible.

Nerf NINJA damage slightly lower.

Bug Fixes:

Made "P1 use mouse+kb" part of the save/load functions

Made sure screenshots work with F12.

Optimized RING OF FIRE and RING OF ICE calculations.

Fixed “Kids Rule” and “Super Duper” achievements not unlocking on THE WALL.

We're incredibly excited to finally release this thing! Neighborhorde is our dream project. We’re just a little three-man indie studio of good friends that wanted to build a silly game we could play together and recapture those countless hours in our childhoods spent imagining action movie scenarios. It's been a long 2 years making this thing, and we're super proud to finally bring it to you all.
