"Gold Mining Simulator" Sets New Record! Player xlr8 Achieves Incredible Success, Mining Over 1 Million Ounces of Gold in a Single Season!

In the recently concluded PC season, xlr8 stunned everyone by mining over a million ounces of gold—an achievement no one had previously come close to. In an interview with our studio, xlr8 revealed that the inspiration behind this accomplishment was a challenge set by another player, Splitintwo. After losing his job, xlr8 dedicated most of his time to the game, playing 10-15 hours a day and achieving an impressive 4,000 ounces of gold per hour in-game.



When the leaderboard appeared on players' screens, we were all shocked and full of admiration for this achievement. Speaking about his record, xlr8 humorously remarked, "It looks a bit over the top," but there's no denying that his success is extraordinary.

Asked for advice for those aiming to surpass his record, xlr8 emphasized the need for immense dedication and perseverance. "It's really hard to play a game 10-15 hours a day. If someone is willing to put in that effort and can mine faster than me, then I salute them," said xlr8.

This record-breaking feat by xlr8 will surely inspire other players to take on challenges and strive for new goals in "Gold Mining Simulator." Will anyone be able to surpass this record? Only time will tell!

• M: Would you like to share with us some background how did you achieve it?
  
• xlr8: I can, yes. It all started with Splitintwo said something like if someone gets 1 million oz he would come back, so I made all the calculations to see if I could actually do it and I could. I just lost my job, so I have all the time in the world to play right now. That's why I did 1 million oz. I just played 10-15 hours a day with my 4k Oz gold per IRL hour.
  
• M: Our whole studio was shocked when we have seen the leaderboard yesterday.
  
• xlr8: Haha it looks a bit too much, yes.
  
• M: Any advice for someone trying to break your record?
  
• xlr8: Haha.. It's really hard to play a game 10-15 hours per day, if someone is willing to do that and be faster than me at digging, I salute them.
