This time we’ve scattered special modern shovels dug in the ground all over the map. 🗺️ Collecting each grants you unique stat bonuses that will help you climb the Leaderboard. If you manage to find all 22 hidden shovels, you’ll be able to unlock a special, legendary skin as your reward (We have also special skins for top 100, top 50, top 25 and top 10!) 🏆🥇🎁

💎Seasonal parcel: River Town
💎New location of seasonal bonuses (look for modern shovels 😉 )
💎Orange Beast washplant is now available to use on every parcel
💎Added Conveyor Belt support to allow using Orange Beast with Dump Truck
💎Deleted rock and fence blocking Old Arnold's parcel entrance
💎Widened River Town parcel entrance and smoothened terrain

[h3]What's coming with Gold Mining Simulator 2? 📢 [/h3]
We aim to create GMS 2 with passion and respect to all of our fans - what's the most important, the game will be based on the analyzed feedback of our playerbase. With the strong base of the already existing Gold Mining Simulator, we want to meet your expectations and add our own ideas.

[h3]What has happened so far? 📅 [/h3]
Since the new team joined the company at the end of 2023 and took over the project, we have switched the engine from UE4 to UE5. 💥 This took a considerable amount of time, but it was necessary, as we want to support the game for a long time and expand it with future expansions! 🎁 We've also added a new map, NPCs, sidequests, changed approach to Gold support and communication. 🏆

[h3]Communication 💬 [/h3]
Communication with our player is the most important factor for us. We want to communicate directly and frequently, which is why we’ve hired a new Community Manager specifically for the players. There will be plenty of devlogs about the game's development as well! If you want to be a part of the game's development, give us feedback and ideas and talk to the devs directly - join our Discord.
📢 The German player base has a significant percentage share in GMS 1. We appreciate it, and from now on, all news will also be available in German! 📢



🎬 Join our live Q&A stream on YouTube (03.02 at 17:00 CET) to discuss the Steam page, trailer, and your questions! You cannot miss this!

You can sign up for the playtests now on Steam - please note, that they are not starting right away. After signing up you will be notified once they start, so stay tuned for the annoucenements. There may be more playtests in the future - let’s see how it goes!
