Our next game, The Room VR: A Dark Matter, now has a Coming Soon page! This allows you to check out the store page, start discussion threads and add the game to your Wishlist!

We've been hard at work getting the game finished since our announcement back in September last year, and although we can't give an exact release date quite yet, the end is very much in sight.

Fireproof Games are excited to announce our next game, The Room VR: A Dark Matter.

This Virtual Reality exclusive has been designed from the ground up for the unique capabilities of VR. Players can inhabit the spine-tingling world of The Room and interact with its strange contraptions in this compelling new chapter.

The game begins deep within The British Museum in London, where the disappearance of an esteemed Egyptologist prompts a Police investigation into the unknown. Explore cryptic locations, examine fantastic gadgets and discover an otherworldly element which blurs the line between reality and illusion.

The Room VR: A Dark Matter will be released early 2020 on Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, HTC Vive, Valve Index & Windows Mixed Reality headsets.

This has been the most frequently requested title since the launch of the original mobile version back in 2015. Over the past year we've been working hard to upgrade all visuals htroughout the game to bring the mysterious world of The Room to life.

The Room Three has received a complete visual overhaul for PC. As the game is significantly larger than the others in the series, this was quite an undertaking! Check out our comparison video to get a glimpse of how every asset and environment has been re-built, re-textured and re-lit to bring the mysterious world of The Room to life.


Continuing the story from The Room Two, your obsessive search for the Null results with being lured to ‘Grey Holm’, a mysterious mansion located on a remote island. You'll need all your puzzle-solving abilities on hand to navigate a series of trials devised by a mysterious figure known only as “The Craftsman”.

Grey Holm is home to many secrets, some of which may help you to alter your fate. It's up to you to discover them...
