[h3]We're excited to roll out more websites, games, and streaming services to Bigscreen in 2023. What would you like to see next?[/h3]

This feature works in single-player and multiplayer, on both Quest and PCVR.
🌐 The content you have access to may vary by region. People in a room may see a different selection of films. If content is unavailable in your region, you won't be able to watch it with friends. Each streaming service operates differently, so your experience may vary.

Some notes about Disney+ and Amazon Prime:

• Each person will need to be logged into Disney+ or Amazon Prime (subscription required).
  
• Disney+ and Amazon Prime have a built-in "watch together" feature that works with Bigscreen, enabling you to watch your favorite content with friends while staying synchronized.
  
• Disney+ and Amazon Prime cannot be opened in public rooms.
  

[h3]We also just improved our Blocking feature to give you more power against trolls and people you don't like. You now have the ability to block people permanently. If you block someone, they can't see/hear you, and you can't see/hear them. [/h3]

• Our new Blocking feature is powered by a new server backend that also powers the long-promised Friends System and Room Admin features – it's nearing completion!
  
• Avatar 2.0 is ready! a complete revamp of avatars to give you lots of new ways to express yourself and enhance your social VR experience

Today’s update improves visual fidelity & immersion on Meta Quest and PCVR headsets with our new Dynamic Screen Lighting 3.0 engine.

We overhauled dynamic screen lighting with new graphics techniques and a lot of fine-tuning. Our latest lighting engine also adds support for real-time specular reflections. It highlights reflective surfaces and specular objects.

To celebrate our new lighting engine we've created a brand new environment: 'The Residence'.

It's a modern, abstract, and cozy space with advanced materials to further enhance the experience. The Residence in combination with DSL 3.0 creates a hyper-realistic, immersive movie-watching experience.

Dynamic Screen Lighting 3.0 is available on PCVR headsets in the following environments:

• Modern Cinema
  
• Sci-fi Cinema
  
• Retro Cinema
  
• Modern Home
  

For Meta Quest 1 and Quest 2 users, DSL 3.0 is currently only in The Residence environment while we work on performance improvements to bring DSL 3.0 to more environments.

[h2]Update on our roadmap [/h2]

Here is what's currently in development and launching in the coming months:

• Friends System with friends lists, block list, easy invites, and more
  
• New customizable avatars
  
• Moderation tools and admin controls for room hosts to easily moderate and organize rooms
  
• Just like our recent YouTube feature, we'll be adding more screen activities like Twitch, Pluto, and your favorite premium streaming services.
  

This update brings new changes to the code of conduct within the app.

• Changes the Bigscreen Code of Conduct page.
  
• Adds a Code of Conduct option in the settings menu.
  
• Adds Code of Conduct sign in the lobby and other lobby environment changes. 🍿
  

To view the updated code of conduct, head into the Settings page in the Bigscreen menu and tap Code of Conduct on the left hand side.
