Ready Player Two, Ernest Cline’s highly anticipated sequel to his beloved worldwide bestseller Ready Player One, publishes in the U.S. and U.K. on November 24th and is expected to be the biggest fiction book of 2020.

Ernest Cline’s virtual book tour for Ready Player Two has been updated to include a virtual Q&A with Ernest Cline in Bigscreen, the premiere virtual reality destination for watching movies with your friends. Using virtual reality headsets, Bigscreen provides an immersive and social movie theater experience in the home. The Q&A with Cline and Darshan Shankar, the CEO and Founder of Bigscreen, will be streamed in Bigscreen on December 5th at 5PM Pacific (8PM Eastern). The event is open to audiences worldwide for free and requires the Bigscreen application (www.bigscreenvr.com) and a supported virtual reality headset.

We pushed out a new update today! 360 Skybox Environments (including the new Green Screen Studio environment) has more seats for you to teleport to! Now you can move around easily for more comfortable viewing angles and more space to work with.



How to use the Green Screen Studio environment:

Find the "Green Screen" in the "My Room" tab, on the 6th page in the "Environments" section.

In the "My Room" tab, find the Selfie Stick or Streamer Cam*.

Selfie Stick and Streamer Cam tools are only available on PC VR headsets like Rift S, Index, any WinMR headset, any SteamVR headset, and on the Quest 2 if you use Oculus Link with a compatible Windows PC. We plan to add a Selfie Stick tool for Quest users in the future.

The Selfie Stick and Streamer Cameras allow you to capture video footage of your Bigscreen experience. It displays a video feed on your desktop, which you can capture (and key out) using free 3rd-party tools like OBS.

We just pushed a small update to fix an issue where some users may run into a "no internet connection detected" pop-up.

Hope some of you were able to make it to today's SpaceX launch of the U.S. Air Force's fourth third-generation navigation satellite for the Global Positioning System, built by Lockheed Martin! The channel is still up, but the rocket launched successfully!
