[h2]Nidavellir - Down below[/h2][hr][/hr]
Nidavellir is the underworld of darkness and the homeland of the dwarves. Only they know their way around the realm and can avoid getting lost in its caves.

The dwarven caves are filled with valuable ores but are not suited to everyone. If you have enough miners, you'll be able to delve deeper and claim raw gold to produce your own Kröwns. However, be careful not to lose your way… for this land is said to be shrouded in darkness.

[h2]Idavoll - Far from all[/h2][hr][/hr]
Idavoll is a mystical resting place for fallen warriors and Valkyries who can no longer join Asgard. It is home to many strange creatures, which will prove legendary foes.

This land could seem like a paradise to some, but as you will quickly discover, it is far from welcoming as the realm is mostly made out of salt. The oppressive heat of the home of the Ljósálfars makes building and resources gathering difficult. If you stumble upon an Oasis on your journey to the Bifröst, proceed with caution: it is said that those places can attract grafvitnirs, the fearsome monsters of the desert.

Road to Bifrost #2 - Fire and Ice

We are excited to introduce new biomes coming with the next update. Let’s have a look at those first two environments.


[h2]Muspelheim - Fight through the fire[/h2][hr][/hr]
Muspelheim is a world of fire and flames. It is the birthplace of the Eldthursars and the goldems. It is not the most welcoming environnement... but we’ll let you be the judge of that.

This realm is populated by troublesome lava golems surrounding a towering volcano located at the center of the region... The land of Muspelheim is full of rimesteel, a rare material on Midgard. That is why, this is the best place to forge mighty runes which will be of great help for you and your friends.

[h2]Niflheim - Look beyond the ice[/h2][hr][/hr]
Niflheim is the realm of sea, ice and death. Unfortunate souls trapped in this land are doomed to die and rise from the grave to fight endlessly.

This archipelago is made of several islands, all of which are connected by portals. It will be of great help in your search for the Bifröst. Lost on one of the islands, you'll need to trad carefully. With a six-months long winter, enemies raiding the frozen seas can strike unexpectedly and will prove deadly to those who aren’t prepared.

Road to Bifröst - A new adventure

We're almost at the end of the Open Beta for Bifröst, and it is now time to tell you a little bit more about what to expect in your new adventure...


[h2]A new adventure[/h2][hr][/hr]
Despite the attack of Surtr on Asgard during the events of Cross of Vidar, the Bifröst - the bridge between the worlds - is now open again. The Vanirs, willing to reclaim their position as the gods of all realms, are now using the Bifröst to travel and expand their influence. The clans must leave their old quarrels behind and unite, or Northgard will be doomed. Explore the realms, grow together, and reach the Vanirs to stop those assaults before it’s too late…



[h2]Adapt and survive[/h2][hr][/hr]
To overcome the unending flow of enemies you will have to find an ideal combination of skill and synergy with your teammates. In order to survive, you'll have to share resources, skills, and knowledge. By working together and improving your cooperation, you will become a singular entity, with a unique set of skills, nothing like the clans you might face usually.
Those evolutions will be determined by your choices and by your role among the team.



[h2]Roam through the realms...[/h2][hr][/hr]
Midgard is the realm of humans. It is the furthest land from Vanaheim, and it is where you originate from. While the place might look familiar, don't be fooled, the Vanirs are taking over the place and are rapidly transforming it, by opening new portals to realms unexplored yet.

Reach the Bifröst, explore additional realms and face new challenges that we'll present to you next week...

  • It is now possible to switch between the Bifröst minimap and the other settings

New week, new realms!
We've been able to fix some bugs you've reported to us, but most of the work have also been to implement two new realms for you to test!

With this update, all realms expect the final one are available!

  • Kingdoms now start with the foraging post as one of their base buildings.
  • Kraken now starts the game with the Hörgr as one of the base buildings.
  • The open beta is now working on mac
