Regarding the Closed Beta inscription that was launched last week, with almost a thousand answers, we had to select only a few, but be sure you'll have other occasions to get in a Closed Beta!

If you have been selected, you should have received a mail from us by the time you read this news!



[h2]Servers and bugfixes[/h2][hr][/hr]
Following the issues with Russian servers, a solution have been found and should be applied with a patch coming tomorrow, more details soon
We have also received numerous report regarding crashes/freezes coming in around 802. Thanks to all of your reports, we have a lead on the issue and should be able to fix it in tomorrow's patch as well!

If you follow the public beta, you might know it hasn't been updated for a while.
That time was reserved for refining the content for a release soon enough!

Bifröst - When playing solo, after surviving each wave you’ll now be able to pick 2 bonuses among 6. (Instead of 1 among 3 previously)

  • Bifrost - Fixed Gullveig tile colonizable with Wolf or Kraken abilities

Closed Beta sign-up

Hey vikings!

It's been a while since we've called you in for a close beta. For the next clan, we want you to help us with what's to come! As with the Owl Clan, you will need to fill out a form and join us on Discord, here is all you need to know

Unlike the current beta for the Trade and Prestige Community Update, this one will be closed to some players. You'll have access to an early version of the next clan to give us early feedback, just like the public beta branch!

A beta tester provides feedback and reports bugs from the current beta build, enabling our team of developers to make necessary adjustments and fix reported issues effectively.

When do you plan on starting the beta?
We plan to start the Beta in the following weeks to give you time for feedback during the rest of the month!

Public Beta patch notes for Week 2

It's time for the second week of the public beta. This time, we have updated the trade victory to answer your feedback and added something a lot of you have been waiting for a while...The balancing of multiple clans.


[h2]Trade victory / Miklagard Faction[/h2][hr][/hr]

We’re happy with the overall direction of the trade-victory rework, but thanks to your feedback we now see it still need some serious adjustments. The victory has been rebalanced to be slower to achieve, and a bit easier to contest. (We’ll keep adjusting the values following new feedback)

  • Miklagard initial Kröwns pool is composed of [color]500 > 1000 Kröwns[/color]
  • To reach Trade Victory you need to reach [color]40% > 50% of the Pool[/color]

You’ve also pointed out the rewards for 15% and 25% prestige were either too strong, or not as interesting as they might have been and so they’ve been reworked to hopefully be more balanced and more interesting to most clans and most plays.

  • 15% Step : Now gives less resources, no longer gives Stone and Iron, but gives 50 Lore and 15 Fame
  • 25% Step : No longer send Military Units, but +5 Stone and +5 Iron every 6 Months

[h3]Hounds[/h3]

As you’ve been many to point out and despite previous nerfs, Hounds Clan is still much stronger than other clans, at least in early game. So that’s what we want to target with this new balancing patch, make the clan units weaker in early game to slow down its clearing and scaling capacity, without touching too much at its power later in the game. (But making it arrive at this peak a bit later, as a consequence)

      • Atk Power Reduction [color]-25% > -20%[/color]
    • Death Deceiver Ability

  • Boarskin
    • Initial HP [color]75 > 60[/color]

[h3]Owl[/h3]

Owl is a bit overtuned as well, especially some knowledge, in particular Parasitic Vegetables, so we’re making it a lot less of a powerhouse. In the meantime, Owl, despite some natural advantages for scouting, is almost never used for this in multiplayer settings. To reinforce this we’re adding a scouting bonus with its Fame 200, equivalent to what other clans can achieve by upgrading their scout camp.

    • Reduce only Food Consumption in the zone
    • Reveal resources every [color]1 > 3 Months[/color]
    • [color]Amount of resources received is capped at a Maximum of 80 Food, 50 Kröwns, and 50 Wood (= 25 Lore)[/color]
  • Fame 200
    • Increase scouting speed of Norns by [color]+15%[/color]
    • [color]Increased Lore gain from Shared Knowledge is removed[/color]
  • Fame 500
    • [color]Branches effects boosted by relation is removed[/color]

[h3]Boar[/h3]

Boar seems to be lacking behind in the current meta, and specific clan features like menders play a very little role in the clan gameplay in multiplayer, so we’re giving them a big boost to hopefully turn this around.

    • Prod [color]+1 > +1.5 Lore[/color]
  • Herbalism
    • Prod in zone per Mender [color]+5% > +7.5%[/color]
    • Mender Heal Speed [color]+20% > +40%[/color]

[h3]Squirrel[/h3]

Since previous nerf to Squirrel meal effect for allies, Squirrel is now less played than other support clans, especially in multiplayer setting. So we’re following your suggestions to make it scale with time to become more impacting later in the game.

  • Effects of Meal for allies scale from [color]50% to 100%[/color] with the relationship between the Squirrel and ally clan

[h3]Snake[/h3]

Snake Scorched Earth was previously changed to be possible to trigger on the clan’s own territory, this was a mistake, we are reverting it to how it previously worked, possible only in neutral or enemy territory.

[h3]Stag[/h3]

Following previous changes to the Stag clan and to the knowledge Glory of the clan especially, it needs to be readjusted to account for the new retroactive nature of its effects.

  • Glory of the clan increase all Fame gains by [color]+30% > +15%[/color]

[h3]Others[/h3]

Minor adjustments following balance feedback

  • Ox - Torfin Provocation ability cooldown is increased to [color]3 months > 6 months[/color]
  • Lynx - Oskoreia ability cooldown is increased to [color]5 months > 8 months[/color]

[h2]Conquest[/h2][hr][/hr]

Since the previous AI rework, some Conquest Battles, especially 1v3 / 2v6 have become much more difficult / frustrating, than they were originally intended to be, so we’re readjusting the numbers of AI opponents as an adjustment, and to avoid some of them feeling tedious to complete in certain settings.

  • Battles 1v3 and 2v6 have been rebalanced to be 1v2 and 2v4 instead, to adjust the difficulty following changes on the AI.

[h2]Bifröst[/h2][hr][/hr]

As noted by many solo players, the Bifröst is a mode that is challenging to complete without teammates. This change is a first step in making the challenge more interesting for you.
