Another quick hotfix, mainly for LoD/Hades, Needler, and a matchmaking fix for new players.

Lord of Death & Hades (fixed)
• Fixed some cases where Lord of Death/Hades would receive more mana than intended from summoned unit kills. Hopefully fixed for real this time (TM).

Needler (nerf)
• Attack speed: 2.13 → 2.06

Currently collecting data and feedback for changes in a future patch.

Another routine hotfix patch for v10.00 related changes, plus a couple fixes beyond that.

King (buff)
• Tenacity: 1.5% → 1.6%
• 1v1 king’s health increased by 10%
• 4v4 king’s health increased by 2%
• Reverted the recent 4v4-only Chain Lightning buff

Hades (fixed)
• Summon Thanatos: Mana cost: 62 → 60
• Fixed a case where Hades was sometimes gaining more mana from Intellect than intended

Needler (nerf)
• Attack speed: 2.17 → 2.13

Dread Knight (fix)
• Fixed a bug where Dread Knight’s clones were dealing Pierce damage instead of Magic damage

Ladder Points
• Elo to LP scaling: quadratic → true exponential (this change will take place at the start of next week’s LP period)

Fixes & Improvements
• HUD: Fixed a display bug where mercenaries and king upgrades were displaying a reduced income amount in 2v2
• Client UI: Fixed a display bug where Classic ratings were displaying incorrectly in-game and in postgame
• Client UI: Fixed some cases where postgame rewards would accidentally wrap to the next line
• Client UI: Fixed some display issues with Worker (eco build) mastery
• Client UI: Friends list should now display in-game even if signed out of Steam Friends
• Stability: Fixed a rare network situation that would cause game instability
• Graphics: Fixed a bug with Desert Pilgrim’s chain heal effects (and possibly others) not rendering properly

Friendly reminder that we’re only 2 days into the ranked season. Please give us time to evaluate feedback and data. We'd rather make confident changes a day late than dubious changes a day early. The game has already been patched 5 times in less than a week, and it will continue to receive quick fixes as needed.

• DPS decreased by 5%

• Attack speed: 0.83 → 0.85 (reverted nerf)

Ocean Templar (nerf)
• Damage: 125 → 120

Shadow Dancer (buff)
• Health: 1635 → 1600
• Clone max health: 1500 → 1600 (bug fix)
• Attack speed: 1.43 → 1.46

Dread Knight (buff)
• Health: 3630 → 3520
• Clone max health: 3300 → 3520 (bug fix)

Hades (nerf)

Quick hotfix patch for emergent v10.00 issues.

Balance/Fixes
• Balance: Needler nerf: Secondary attacks are no longer buffed by bonus damage (i.e. Shaman buff)
• Balance: Needler nerf: Damage: 55 --> 54
• Balance: Shadow Dancer buff/tweak: Reduced the chance of being too lucky/unlucky with RNG chances. In addition, proc chance: 15% --> 16.6% and health: 1600 --> 1635. It should now be a more viable opener, though still risky.
• Balance: Dread Knight buff/tweak: Reduced the chance of being too lucky/unlucky with RNG chances. In addition, health: 3520 --> 3630.
• Balance: Elite Archer & Trinity Archer nerf: Fixed an interaction where they were mistakenly being buffed by both physical & spell damage from Leviathan's buff
• Balance: 4v4: King's Lightning Hammer buff: Now bounces 1 extra time (4v4 map only)
• Gameplay: Fixed a bug where reconnecting on Wave 1 would mistakenly allow you to repick a Mastermind playstyle
• Client UI: Fixed a bug where Classic rating would accidentally be displayed on the sidebar
• HUD: Fixed a bug where damage tracker would be incorrectly missing damage for Shadow Dancer/summoner units. Damage tracker should also now more accurately not include overkill damage. Damage taken tracker does include overkill damage, though. Hopefully this makes the damage tracker a little better at displaying your best performing units.


Other Notes
• No changes to Ocean Templar yet, but we'll keep a close eye on it if it needs a nerf. v10.00a (this patch) is just a hotfix, so we just wanted to hit the most major offenders first.
• As with all major patches, we anticipate doing more balance tweaks and hotfixes over the next few weeks, especially after collecting more data & feedback
• We've also received a lot of feedback on other v10.00 related changes and will tweak as needed.
• End of Season rating soft-reset & rewards should be completed by now. Open a ticket at http://legiontd2.com/support if your account wasn't reset properly or you're missing rewards.

Final Note
Thanks for bearing with us with a bit of a rocky launch to v10.00. We ran into unexpected, significant technical issues with the season reset, as well as having team members on holiday break & paternity leave. Rest assured, we'll make sure the game gets to a healthy spot!
