Flight is released!

Evolution: Flight, an expansion for Evolution, introduces flying species into the ecosystem. Now your species can swoop on unsuspecting prey from above, fly away from predators, or soar to a new location when food is scarce.

Flight opens an array of strategic options as you've always got the option to make a flying species. The Cliffs introduce a new food source only accessible to Flying Species. Gain control of the skies and the Cliffs are yours alone.



6 new Traits add thematic (and seemingly overpowered!) Trait combinations when paired with Flight, but many come with tradeoffs. A flock of Brood Parasites with Nesting gives extra Population and Food, but leaves your Species defenseless.
Will the ability to fly propel you to new heights, or will it bring your downfall?

Bug fixes for the intelligence trait and multiplayer games.

    Fixes to the intelligence trait and double clicking errors.

Climate Multiplayer Bug Fixes

With the increase in Climate Matchmade Games, we've found and patched a couple of pesky bugs in the multiplayer.

The final Trait Pack in Evolution has arrived

AntiSocial Species refuse to join the group, and find their own Food where the herd doesn't go. An Apex Predator adds a Carnivore and massive Size, but is unable to attack small Species.  A Carnivore may attack Quills once, however it will never make that mistake again.



You can add any combination of these cards to AI games, or make your own deck for Pass & Play and Private games. You can also add one to public multiplayer games, which is then added into the combined deck everyone plays from.

In addition, when you invite folks to your private game, they are able to also use any purchases or expansions you have active.

The Daily Challenge is released, multiplayer is updated.

This is a fun one. Each day, you get one attempt to set a high score the Daily Challenge. The Daily Challenge is a one-round user-designed challenge with Cards from any Promo Pack or Expansion. It only takes a few minutes to play, and gives everyone a shot at the leaderboard, you don't have to grind to make it.

In addition, there's a Challenge Editor feature in there to create new Daily Challenges. Create your best challenge and submit it, and others can play it and rate it. The highest rated challenges will then become a Daily Challenge for others to test themselves against.

We've also updated our multiplayer with a new backend system that we hope will be much more robust at handling folks dropping games and timing out, along with other various bug fixes.

Check back every day for the days' new challenge and set a record for having the highest average placement each day of the week. Enjoy both of these new features!
