Hello Humans,

It’s a little over eight years now since Human Fall Flat hit the Steam store. We’d like to invite you to help us mark this momentous milestone by nominating the game for the ‘Labour of Love’ category in the Steam Awards 2024!

Hello Human,

Prepare to take a hike in a stunning new Human Fall Flat level!

You’ll want to wrap up tight before setting off on this trek, as the path from the hunting lodge to the mountain summit is a perilous one that passes through icy glacial caverns and a freezing fog that hides many a trap for the unwary.

As you travel along this path you’ll have to gingerly explore secret caves and tunnels, traverse broken bridges, grapple with hooks and ziplines, climb up trees and clamber across rocks to reach the exit at the top of the trail.

As well as enjoying these perilous puzzles, be sure to take in Hike’s natural beauty too. Cascading waterfalls await you on the way to the summit, and winding woodland paths will tempt you to explore every inch of this latest update. Watch the trailer now!

138 universities around the World are competing to win a prize of $10,000 and real-world game design experience as they enter the Human Fall Flat University Design Challenge

Using Unity, students must submit their creations by 31st December 2024, with themes including High Fantasy, Greek or Norse Myths and Steampunk Airship. Levels should embody the iconic wobbly, physics-driven fun that Human Fall Flat is famous for.

The winning student will not only receive the $10K prize but will also collaborate directly with No Brakes Games to perfect their level for official release.

We’ve been blown away by the love and support for Human Fall Flat VR since we announced it to the world! It’s been great to see so many fans of the original game excited to jump back in and play the game in a completely new way. Likewise, we’re also really excited to see players who are completely new to the game join us for the very first time!

While reading through your comments we know that many of you have a lot of questions. So we thought we’d open up the floor for you to drop us your questions, and we’ll try to answer what we can in a follow up news post! You can submit your questions using this form.

We are hosting a very special event with Human Fall Flat creator Tomas Sakalauskas, who will be answering the questions YOU submitted on Discord. The event will be held on the 24th October at 6PM BST/10AM PT, so mark your calendars and don’t miss out!

We welcome anyone to come along to learn more about the game, how development went (or just to hang out!)
