
Hello Officers,
We're releasing a balance update. After our previous
tournament (more info here) we reviewed all the games and thought that the Commanders and Officers are having a bit of leeway when it comes to Commander Ability. We decided to have some of the Commander Abilities to affect allies as well, damage and buff effects included. It's quite a big change so we'll be monitoring to see if it needs further tweaking or not.
We also did some minor changes on the weapons as well. The light machine guns was the most used guns throughout the tournament due to it's low recoil. This made the LMG a very deadly and efficient weapon, perhaps a bit too deadly. We tweaked the shooting behavior slightly as a response to that.
The AXR Orion and GSF Exploit Vanguard gets a nerf and buff respectively, something our community has been requesting for awhile now. You can read more regarding the changes below.

[Gameplay Changes]- Following Commander's Ability will now deal friendly fire
- Artillery Strike (& Improved Ordnance Airburst)

[Level Changes]- Downtown

- Fixed Bank near Team 1 having no collision
- Added extended walls on both Team 0 and Team 1 base to prevent base to base attack
[Balance Changes]- AXR Scout movement speed decreased from 600 to 550
- AXR XM13 equip speed is slightly increased to match up to GSF SIGAR
- GSF & AXR light machine gun have higher initial recoil. The recoil lowers when it's fired over a longer period of time
- GSF SIGAR Default and Assault package Spread are slightly reduced
- AXR Orion Shock Trap cooldown is increased from 7.5 seconds to 8.5 seconds
- AXR Orion Shock Trap 'Shocked' buff duration is decreased from 15 seconds to 12 seconds
- AXR Aegis Exo-Shield cooldown (on break) is increased from 20 seconds to 30 seconds
- GSF Exploit Vanguard Hacking speed and Effect duration is increased significantly for most hack-types
- GSF Exploit Vanguard Hacking cooldown is increased from 15 seconds to 22 seconds
- GSF Exploit Vanguard Scarab Swarm cooldown is decreased from 75 seconds to 65 seconds
[Fixes]- Fixed AXR Scout having fast weapon equipping speed
- Fixed Challenge Mode not marking the first achievement as complete when challenge is attempted for the first time
- Fixed Chosen Faction in Tutorial and Challenge Mode being overridable
- Fixed AXR AI not being able to build on Team 1, Var 1 build location
- Fixed Grenade animation being interrupted when switching weapon
- Fixed EMP Shield Disabling not removing allied Shields
- Fixed rare crash when player with attached squad jumps into the water in Crossing
