1.0 Roadmap



We have been quiet for the past few months, but fret not, we had been REAL busy!
Lots of exciting announcements for today.

We are now committing to a 1.0 release in Q1 of 2021 and will be announcing the actual launch date pretty soon.
To get an idea of what to expect, here's a roadmap of 1.0 when it goes LIVE!
On top of new contents, there will also be a couple of major new features that will change the gameplay dynamics.
4 of the special Hidden Announcements will be revealed together with the launch date.

Bear in mind that majority of the under-development content being prepared for 1.0 may not be an early access build due to us re-writing a lot of the systems from ground up. We strive to deliver a high quality product when we launch. As such we are concurrently developing & testing it as a separate build.

As we move along in development, we will doing in-depth videos & podcasts on how these new content will affect the game.
We can't wait to show these to the world.

Eximius Update - August 13th, 2020



Hello Officers,

In this minor update, we are putting up some internal analytics for the purpose of running stress tests with G.Round platform. There will be a one-off popup that will appear to collect information from the platform testers. If you’re not part of it, just go ahead and skip it. Along with this , we are also pushing some minor balance fixes; more specifically weapon balancing. Some of the more notable changes would be that Fall Off damage has been added to GSF ATR & AXR AMPAW. Additionally, SATM will now deal splash damage to AXR Aegis’s Exo Shield.

You may have noticed that this update is taking a bit more space than usual. That’s because we’re doing some groundwork to prepare the tech & engine update required for 1.0. Along with the engine update, we will be upgrading our back-end to anticipate for a bigger 1.0 launch.
As a result, we're developing the 1.0 build in parallel so the changes you see here aren't reflective of what we’ve been working on. The roadmap will be announced soon.

[Balance Changes]
Aegis Exo-Shield
- SATM Splash Damage added, 900 Splash Damage with 500 Splash Radius
- Increased Damage of ATR to shield by 2.2x
- Removed Shield Recovery while Exo-Shield is active

Orion Shock Trap
- Changed stunned behavior to shock at increasingly longer intervals between shocks and shorter stunned duration.
- Player is now shocked for a total of only 3 times ( 2seconds , 1.5seconds and 1.2 seconds ); down from previously 5 times.
- Ability Cooldown increased to 25 seconds (Previously was 18 seconds)

Fall Off Damage
- Added Fall Off damage to AXR AMPAW and GSF ATR
- Damage Fall off at 6 damage per meter
- Damage will only start to fall off at 50m
- Fall off damage penalty will be capped at 75%

[Fixes]
Echelon Crew Mortar & Explosive Grenades
- Explosion should now apply damage to units behind low cover

Eximius Update - June 22nd, 2020



Hello Officers,

We're releasing a balance update. After our previous tournament (more info here) we reviewed all the games and thought that the Commanders and Officers are having a bit of leeway when it comes to Commander Ability. We decided to have some of the Commander Abilities to affect allies as well, damage and buff effects included. It's quite a big change so we'll be monitoring to see if it needs further tweaking or not.

We also did some minor changes on the weapons as well. The light machine guns was the most used guns throughout the tournament due to it's low recoil. This made the LMG a very deadly and efficient weapon, perhaps a bit too deadly. We tweaked the shooting behavior slightly as a response to that.

The AXR Orion and GSF Exploit Vanguard gets a nerf and buff respectively, something our community has been requesting for awhile now. You can read more regarding the changes below.

[Gameplay Changes]
- Following Commander's Ability will now deal friendly fire
- Artillery Strike (& Improved Ordnance Airburst)
- Targeted Strike (& Tactical Strike)
- EMP Strike (EMP will now affect both allies and enemies)

[Level Changes]
- Downtown
- Aesthetic cleanup (floating & missing objects)
- Fixed Bank near Team 1 having no collision
- Added extended walls on both Team 0 and Team 1 base to prevent base to base attack

[Balance Changes]
- AXR Scout movement speed decreased from 600 to 550
- AXR XM13 equip speed is slightly increased to match up to GSF SIGAR
- GSF & AXR light machine gun have higher initial recoil. The recoil lowers when it's fired over a longer period of time
- GSF SIGAR Default and Assault package Spread are slightly reduced
- AXR Orion Shock Trap cooldown is increased from 7.5 seconds to 8.5 seconds
- AXR Orion Shock Trap 'Shocked' buff duration is decreased from 15 seconds to 12 seconds
- AXR Aegis Exo-Shield cooldown (on break) is increased from 20 seconds to 30 seconds
- GSF Exploit Vanguard Hacking speed and Effect duration is increased significantly for most hack-types
- GSF Exploit Vanguard Hacking cooldown is increased from 15 seconds to 22 seconds
- GSF Exploit Vanguard Scarab Swarm cooldown is decreased from 75 seconds to 65 seconds

[Fixes]
- Fixed AXR Scout having fast weapon equipping speed
- Fixed Challenge Mode not marking the first achievement as complete when challenge is attempted for the first time
- Fixed Chosen Faction in Tutorial and Challenge Mode being overridable
- Fixed AXR AI not being able to build on Team 1, Var 1 build location
- Fixed Grenade animation being interrupted when switching weapon
- Fixed EMP Shield Disabling not removing allied Shields
- Fixed rare crash when player with attached squad jumps into the water in Crossing
