Patch Notes - 0.13.4: Some bug fixes and balance

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • Fixed issues loading some tabs in the workshop
  • Fixed issue where the game opt-out custom content with no way to opt-in
  • Removed the Monkey king clones being able to spawn their own clones, for now.


[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • Made some changes to the sinking done by large units after they get eliminated


[h3]Balance[/h3]
  • Slightly increased the health of the Vampire
  • Made the health of the Vampire carry over between forms

Bug Fixes
  • UI fixes for the custom content page.
  • Fixed memory leak causing custom content to be loaded more than once.
  • Fixed some spelling errors in Unit Creator.
  • General fixes to UI.


Changes
  • Stiffy got reworked a bit to reduce the clipping of prop items in Unit Creator.


Balance
  • Slightly increased the speed of Zeus’ lightning bolts.
  • Very slightly increased the aiming of Zeus.
  • Very slightly increased the amount other units want to attack Zeus.
  • Slightly increased the health of the brawler.
  • Slightly decreased the health of the Jarl.
  • Slightly increased the movement speed during the Jarl’s enrage.
  • Slightly decreased the effect time of the Jarl’s enrage.
  • Made the Monkey King’s clones able to spawn their own clones.
  • Made the bullets of the bullet rain hit large and flying units more often.
  • Slightly increased the damage of the Lasso’s lasso.
  • Slightly increased the time to freeze for the Ice giant’s ice breath.




Remember to restart steam and verify the integrity of the game files in order to install the update correctly!

Unit Creator Update Patch 0.13.2:

This is the last patch before we go on our holiday break! See you next year with more fixes and updates, read more about what's to come in our roadmap.

  • The Sensei will not hit themself with their Shuriken Tornado ability.
  • Dark Peasant will no longer block friendly projectiles, like the presents and stones from the stoner.
  • Fixed the spider head prop.

[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • Made the left-hand version, for weapons with two versions, work for both hands and removed the Right-hand versions.
Weapons affected:
  • Boxer Gloves
  • Super Boxer Gloves
  • Jester knife

[h3]Balance[/h3]
  • Slightly decreased the time between shots of the Deadeye’s Winchester.
  • Reduced the aiming time of the Deadeye’s Winchester.

The future of the Unit Creator



[h3]It’s been a little over a week since we released the unit creator and when we’re writing this (15th of Dec 2020) there are more than 60 000 amazing units uploaded to mod.io! [/h3]

We thought we would clear up some things in regards to the unit creator and its future.


Before the full release, we will focus on bug fixing and polishing the unit creator and workshop in its current state, it is unlikely we will add any more features until after 1.0 as doing so will delay the release.

We want to focus on finishing the game and to make sure it’s polished instead of adding a bunch of new things. We know you’re all excited for more Unit Creator content but it will have to wait until after 1.0 - however, there will be some more props and abilities added with the new units coming with the last faction.

We have seen your suggestions for more content and features and have decided to work to implement some of them in an update after the full release. We don’t know when this update will be released at this time.

Things we may (if possible) add:
  • More unit bases.
  • Resizing weapons.
  • Individual stats on weapons.
  • Glowing materials and neon weapons.


Things that we will most likely not add:
  • The ability to model, script, and create your own abilities inside of the creator.
  • The ability to import your own models.
