Today, we have released Update 9! Nexus! (Also known as "Global Update 3")




Its officially playable today and with that, there were many changes. From bugs to UI, I'll give a basic rundown of what was changed and added.


-New Maps (Several New maps have been added to the game to give more variety.)

-New UI for each menu

-New Customization

-Armor

-New Weapons (G36C, Saiga, Etc)

-Region Selector

-All sounds Overhauled

-Sound Sync

-All textures have been overhauled

-New Weapon Skins

-New Player Skins

-New Cases

-New Inspect Animations

-Over 600+ Bug fixes

-Sprinting and Crouching Removed (The maps are smaller, these features aren't necessary anymore.)

I have a really amazing announcement!





This is mainly for bug reporting so a discussions thread about this new beta and its bug reports will be up for logging in bugs and potential issues/current issues.


To access the beta, Right-click on Kuboom in your library and click "Properties" and select the tab that says "Betas". Afterwards click the drop-down menu and select "Deta". Then click "Ok"!

You now have the beta branch!

Long time no see!




I understand and we are sorry for this. We haven't been updating Kuboom on PC for a very long time. And we even missed the holidays!

The hackers will not be as much as an issue with our new anti-cheat which will come with the next update!

The second reason is I'm the only moderator going around banning the hackers! And so the banning process is much slower when there's 15 hackers a week..



At first, we had Kuboom on mobile "just for show" and we didn't want that. So we polished it up. And witihn weeks the game became the #3 action game on google play! which was a huge milestone for us!

We were drawn in by the positive feedback the mobile versions were gaining and wanted to expand on it which led to us not paying attention to the earlier versions of the game - you could say we abandoned our original fans and left you all hanging. All for a more popular version of our game. And we are very sorry for that.

So we are going to try managing both, the mobile versions and the mobile versions. And if we leave this game for a long time. I'll be sure to let people know around the community.





So, what to do while you wait? well if you have a mobile device - you can download Kuboom on it! we just ported it over to IOS and it is now available for download!

If you don't, thats okay! what you can do is talk with others in the Steam Discussion board! and if you want you can report cheaters and bugs too!

Dont forget to invite friends! just have fun!
