June is here, and with it, we're bringing the heat in the Steam Summer Sale! We are stoked to announce that Intruder is going to be 50% OFF until July 7th. If you don't own the game yet, it's the perfect time to join our ranks!

Sneak your way in as an intruder to secure the objective, or use a wide variety of tactical gadgets as guards to protect the objective and keep the intruders out! Teamwork, coordination, and using the environment to your advantage will be instrumental to your victory.

Now, with that said... We have something special for you Agents!



Our team has been hard at work implementing a brand new feature that we are excited to release today in Intruder!



Armor is coming in Intruder and it's coming in hot!

While it's still subject to changes and further balancing, the team spent a lot of time implemeting it and making sure it fits the game nicely as a brand new gadget. You are now able to pick it up in various maps, but doing so has a fair share of setbacks!

[h3]Pros of using Armor:[/h3]

• Armour protects your entire body.
  
• Reduces incoming damage by 40%.
  
• Reduces balance damage by 65%.
  
• Walking and crouching speed won't be affected.

[h3]Cons of using Armor:[/h3]

• Slower running speed.
  
• The shotgun completely ignores balance damage reduction.
  
• You can no longer silently walk, crouch or jump.
  
• Wearing armour produces a different sound compared to simply walking.
  
• Jumping with the armour will also consume twice the usual energy.

Alongside the update, comes some changes and fixes:

• Explosions now have balance drop off based on distance. So if your leg is just around a corner, you should not fall.
  
• Variable head shot damage to account for armor

Calling all Agents!

We have a new mission coming in! We're on the lookout for a new Discord server banner, and we're calling on our best and brightest Agents to create one for us! So jump into Intruder, grab the best screenshot you can, turn it into a banner, and our top 3 submissions will win prizes!

Funny, Serious, Tactical, Beautiful, Stealthy, Teamwork…Anything goes!

Remember, the Intruder Competitive League is happening as well! It’s the perfect time to get screenshots of you and your friends in action, or simply chill out as a spectator and capture the moment that will win you a prize!

The rules are as follows:

• The minimum submission size is 960x540px and the recommended aspect ratio is 16:9.
  
• Only one submission per person is allowed.
  
• The picture may be photoshopped/edited, but only with game assets, scenes, or logos. Don’t go overboard, but custom designs are encouraged!
  
• The image must be created by you, of course. Any stolen pictures won’t be considered.
  
• Must be submitted on Discord by June 7th, 12PM CST in the #banner-submissions channel.
  
• No discussions in the event channel please, but feel free to react to the artist’s posts and show some love! Your reactions will help with the final judging. Any discussions will be deleted from the channel to keep things clean.
  
• All submissions must follow the server's rules, and Discord Terms of Service.

Submissions will be judged by the Community Management team, Discord Mods, and the AUG team. The banners will be critiqued on the following:

• Originality and creativity.
  
• How well the banner represents the game.
  
• Reactions on the submission piece will be considered in the judging process.

The winners of the contest will receive the following:
First place:

• 1x Steam Gift card (20$).
  
• 3x Intruder Game Keys.

Second place:

• 2x Intruder Game Keys.

Third place:

• 1x Intruder Game Key.

May 24th EDIT: THERE ARE NOW 38 TEAMS! While a team limit was not planned, we will be capping the limit at 40.

If your team has 7 or more members, you can send a message to @Ryguytheguy on our Discord and we will try to work something out, otherwise head over to the #Looking for Members thread to join an existing team!

We are mostly looking for one EU Team, and one Pacific/US West Team. If you have a team in either of those regions, please let us know!
