My main project

Hello everyone!

After quite a long time of development, creating 3D models, and coding pages upon pages of code; I am happy enough to present several screenshots of my main project for anyone who is interested.

If you arn't aware yet, the game is called: A Girls Fabric Face. I will not say anything about the story right now as it is still being developed; but all I can say is that it is extremely in depth and deep.

One thing I want to make clear is that this game has absolutely nothing to do with Minds Eyes. Minds Eyes was just a test to gather input from everyone; thus no correlation between the two.

NOW! what are some main things that I added to this game; all of which are based on your inputs.

- The game being 90% interaction based rather than roughly 20% as Minds Eyes was.
- A large story is involved.
- Many puzzles and discoveries.
- A brand new mechanic; allowing you to view the premise from cameras set up around the house.
- House secrets and secret items.
- As well as a few more things here and there.

Other things I will hopefully be adding are:
- achievements (Depending how hard it is to add. Never done before)
- difficulty levels (increasing puzzle difficulty. future update).

All and all the game is going very well! So far no major problems have been shown; and I definitely cannot wait until I post this game on Greenlight with more "Final" screenshots and a trailer.

I will be uploading the game onto greenlight sometime in December. Ill be sure to post an announcement on that. There is still quite a lot of work and polishing to be done, but I am definitely hard at work, despite my heavy work and school schedule.

With all that said! I wish you all happy gaming :)

Main project suggestions

Alrighty everyone! I believe I’ve gotten enough criticism for this game by now! It is now time to begin working on the main project. Minds Eyes has definitely taught me a nice amount of things. I noticed that a lot of you enjoyed the game while some disliked the game as a whole (or some parts) which is good! Like I said before, Minds Eyes was made to gather information on new things which is why the game play have felt like 5 games in one. Ultimately, I am happy with the way things have gone. I’ve learned a lot, talked to a few people here and there, gotten a bit of support and some criticism here and there, too.

SO! now it is time begin planning on the main project. I’ve been taking a lot of notes, beginning to sketch some models, as well as creating a full, in-depth storyline for you all to enjoy. I’ve been brainstorming ways to keep the player engaged most of the time, with a near complete elimination of ‘aimless wandering’ and more!

To be completely honest, I’ve never really put the time to plan any of my games. Whenever I have a small idea, I simply expand on it, and make things on the go. This will definitely not be the case for this game. For the first time ever (in my time of publishing over 10 games), I will spend a large portion of time, brainstorming, modeling and creating the best horror experience that I am completely capable of doing. I will purchase a laptop so I can work at school as well, and involve as many people as I possibly can in brainstorming, researching and testing.

So what is this announcement particularly for? A discussion (in the announcement section). I want to talk to you all; I want to hear your ideas; I want to know what particularly scares you? What annoys you in a game? And what you would like to see in a game. It is my complete aim and goal to create something that I’ve never created before; a whole to level to my capabilities in order to raise my bar of standards to ultimately provide you all the best gaming experience possible.

As always, I thank you all for the support, and for some wonderful Ideas! Within a month or so, I believe I will begin posting some information on the new game, as well as screenshots, trailer, and more.

With that said, feel free to like me on facebook to get quick and early info on stuff!
