Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr News

NeocoreGames in 2023 & Steam Winter Sale!
Gather around
Inquisitors,

as we sit by the campfire (slow-roasting heretics of course), looking back on the past year at our company.

While we have not released a new game in 2023, it was still a very productive and exciting year for our existing games and our future projects.

Our ever-expanding action-RPG Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr continued to receive updates both on the PC and consoles, Season of the Empyrean Echoes and Season of Judgement for the PlayStation and Xbox, and Season of Malediction for PC.

We participated in the Warhammer Skulls celebration in May, adding an in-game event for the duration as well. This has become a nice tradition that we wish to continue.

Sororitas Class was released on all console versions too, so finally everybody can play an Inquisitor with the Adepta Sororitas background. This DLC has proven to be quite popular, even a new class can bring new life to a game released in 2018 – still going strong!

The game was re-bundled with all the DLCs and expansions for Steam, titled the Definitive Edition, but it doesn’t mean that the game is all wrapped up! We are now working on the much-requested offline mode and some other improvements as well, and you will learn about them very soon… in 2024. Which is not far away!

There are obviously a bunch of other things that we can’t talk about yet, but we can happily confirm that we, a game development studio, are currently working on video games. Big surprise there. All jokes aside, we look forward to the future with hope and excitement. Our slowly growing, RPG-loving studio is here to stay, determined to learn from your feedback and deliver even better games in the following years.

We already had our company holiday dinner (coincidentally, at a place called "Steam Bistro"), so what's left for us is just to take a few days off, play some games with our loved ones, maybe delve into the Steam Winter Sale - you can find our games there on a deep discount!

This is our last update for 2023, and this is the time for us to wish you a
See you in 2024!
Regarding Availability and Online Functionality

Inquisitors,

With our recent sale of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr Definitive Edition many of you wondered whether this might be a sign of imminent delisting or some kind of ceasing of online services. This is absolutely, definitely not the case.

We believe in preserving our work for future players, so Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is not going to be delisted nor become unusable. This is true for all DLCs also. The game was conceived as an online experience and it was presented in an online mode for a reason. However, we'd also like to ensure that everybody can play, so naturally, we have plans to add an offline mode sometime in the near future, with an additional surprise!

In short: Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr will not be purged from existence. There's one simple reason for this:
