Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 News

Ahead of Bloodlines 2, save $950 to become the ultimate World of Darkness expert

This article is my 'coming out' article. It's the moment where I admit, perhaps to no one's surprise, that I have a serious obsession with TTRPGs. Dungeons and Dragons. Call of Cthulhu. Candela Obscura. If its dark, mysterious, and fantastical, I'll play it. But, at the top of that list sits Vampire: The Masquerade, my all-time favorite, born from a love of the original Bloodlines and Sharkmob's ill-fated but absolutely glorious battle royale game, Bloodhunt. While my foray into tabletop is relatively recent, ahead of Bloodlines 2 I couldn't help but unearth my ol' black and red dice and create a new character (a Ventrue, this time, instead of my classic Toreador). I'm very much in my #VampireEra, and I'm absolutely fine with it.

Bloodlines 2 relents on paid clans, offers them to all after "frank feedback"

The two Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 clans that were set to launch as paid DLC will now be included in the base game. The long-awaited sequel is just one month out, but has been mired in discontent over the locking-away of two of its iconic factions. Paradox, White Wolf, and The Chinese Room confirm that, in response to a community outcry, the Toreador and Lasombra clans will now be included as part of the base game from day one.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2's controversial DLC clans will be in the base game after all

About a month ago, it was announced that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 would only feature four different clans in its base game, with two extra clans coming as day one DLC. This, unsurprisingly, was received like a wet fart on a hot Sunday at church, with publisher Paradox later saying that they would make "adjustments" based on the response. And as confirmed in a press release and new trailer, said adjustments are the fact that these two clans, Lasombra and Toreador, will be included in the base game at launch.
