Villedor under siege: The Infected Outbreak begins

[p]A special Infected Outbreak event has come to Dying Light 2: Stay Human! For three weeks, from February 12 to March 5, the city of Villedor is facing a growing infected threat, and it’s up to you to stop it. Each week, new districts are overrun by zombies, with new infected variants appearing. If outbreaks aren’t contained, the situation escalates: hordes remain in the district and spread to other areas.[/p][p]In week one, Houndfield and Downtown are hit. Each week brings new goals, so you must unite to push back the infected and reclaim the city. An outbreak of this scale cannot be accidental, and players will also be able to uncover the first hints of the forces hidden behind this new danger. [/p][p]By taking part in the event, you contribute to both community and personal goals that influence the outcome of the Outbreak. As you fight through affected areas, you can earn rewards such as weapons, charms, and by completing all personal challenges, unlock the iconic Kyle Crane outfit from Dying Light: The Beast.[/p][p]Infected Outbreak is part of the 11th anniversary celebration of Dying Light, but that’s not all we have in store for you! You will also find special in-game offers to enhance your experience. The new Black Hand Bundle lets you step into the shadows as an elite assassin of The Obsidian Table. The bundle comes with the Black Hand Outfit, Quietus Silenced Pistol, The Last Breath Katana, Obsidian Table Charm, and the The Obsidian Glider Paraglider, designed to significantly impact your gameplay. The base outfit allows you to uncover hidden Black Hand notes while playing. Once you collect them all, you unlock a second color variation of the outfit.[/p]

NIGHT WOLF EVOLVING BUNDLE

Get the Night Wolf Bundle and begin your journey to become the Crimson Werewolf by following the traces left by stray wolf soldiers who made their way into Villedor.
Equip the high-end gear of a lost military unit and unleash the feral strength of the wolf.

Start with the full base outfit and weapon, then complete the four-part evolving questline to upgrade your gear, unlock the bundle’s full potential and keep both outfits! 🐺

Winter returns to Dying Light 2: Stay Human with Gifts from Above 2025 event

[p]The holiday season returns to Dying Light 2: Stay Human with the refreshed Gifts from Above 2025 Winter Event. 

Baka is back in the Villedor with a set of new bounties for players to complete, progressing with him will unlock items in his shop based on the level players are at. These items can be bought with Candies collected from killing seasonal zombie enemies - including Naughty Biters, Naughty Bolters, Naughty Virals, Uncle Snow, and Ice Spitters. 

Players who gather enough Reputation Points by completing bounties will be able to receive a letter to Santa from Baka. Sending a letter will trigger the special Airdrop. These encounters are defended by the strongest enemies, but also provide the most valuable loot, including seasonal weapons and gear pieces.

Players can also take part in weekly community goals to unlock even more rare rewards. Each week focuses on defeating a specific seasonal enemy type, and reaching the milestone grants themed weapons and charms.

Three weeks of community challenges reward all players once global targets are met.[/p]
  • [p]December 18 - December 23 - Week 1: Kill Naughty Biters - rewards include the Glacier Shank Knife and Snow Season Ornament Charm[/p]
  • [p]December 23 - December 30 - Week 2: Kill Naughty Virals - rewards include the The Guiding Star Mace and Gift Season Ornament Charm. [/p]
  • [p]December 30 - January 8 - Week 3: Kill Uncle Snow - rewards include the Fractal Frost Axe and New Year’s Ornament Charm. [/p]
[p]Additionally Winter Update introduces a new type of bundle to our in-game store: the Evolving Bundle. These bundles include weapons, cosmetic items and an outfit that evolve to their more exclusive versions as players complete quests and challenges attached to the. 

The first bundle of that kind is the Night Wolf Evolving Bundle which evolves into the Crimson Werewolf set as players progress through a four-part questline. This way players can acquire two versions of a powerful rifle, an outfit, six gear pieces, and a paraglider skin. The bundle also contains the Wolf’s Claws melee weapon and an exclusive grappling hook variant![/p]

Hotfix 1.25.2

Survivors!
Hotfix 1.25.2 just rolled onto the servers, so make sure to update the game!

Here’s the list of the fixes:
  • Fixed the FPS spikes in Tower Raid
  • Fixed the crash that sometimes occurred when returning to Teresa after completing Dodger`s challenge
  • Fixed the inconsistency in Aiden’s shadow and body when having certain Halloween weapons equipped
  • Fixed the shoulder pad sometimes clipping through the shoulder
  • Fixed the issue when the Player fails to switch to the right tab when clicking on it in the Player menu
  • Fixed the issue with the Bad Office Day Outfit being assigned to the CONSUMABLES / ACCESSORIES vendor category
  • Fixed the issue with Van Aiden not being able to craft bolts
  • Fixed the issue where the Phantom of Death Paraglider can be purchased multiple times
  • Fixed the issue when the Player is not rewarded for having the highest score in Status Effects Applied
  • Fixed the issue with Ultraviolence & Cutthroat Cutlass starting with a Level 3 upgrade
  • Fixed the issue with the Scarecrow Charm's effect about cutting off limbs not affecting blunt weapons
  • Fixed the issue with the Volatile Hunter bounty not counting Pumpkintiles properly
  • Fixed the Elite Rooftop objective description mentioning killing the Volatiles when we have to kill Tyrant
  • Fixed the issue with the Player being stuck when jumping on a desk wall from a certain angle on Floor 14
  • Fixed the issue with Candies collected on a UGC map not being counted towards the Collect Candies bounty
