Golden Eggs have started popping up all over Villedor - in car trunks, on buses and even Special Infected started carrying some. Find these items and turn them into weapons of mass explosion to strike gold in the form of the legendary Ancestral Dragon (and blueprint)!

New Hotfix

We just released a new hotfix. Changes and fixes are as follows:

EULA Changes
We’ve made a few changes to our EULA related to mods, which should make the rules more clear for our modding community. We’ve removed “mods” from the “Cheating” section, and introduced a new paragraph in section 17. “User Generated Content”:

You may create and distribute mods for the Program, as long as your mods comply with the Techland Mod Policy. Techland Mod Policy is available at https://techland.net/upload/Techland_Modpolicy.pdf

So make sure to check these changes out! You will need to agree to the updated EULA when logging into the game after the hotfix.

Bug fixes
Fixed instances when the “Community Maps” tab would freeze for some time after accessing it.
Fixed stutter and unwanted pop-up windows when changing Gamma settings while in game.
Fixed stutter when hovering over City Alignment benefits in the menu.
Fixed stutter when hovering over Tools in the Inventory menu.
Fixed graphical alignment of installed mods on Mercenary Machete.
Fixed an exploit when a player could pick up the same inhibitor twice after defeating a GRE Anomaly while playing in co-op.

Dying Light 2 finally gets firearms, and Vampire The Masquerade collab

There are some things that I never see coming, but brighten up my day. Dying Light 2 meets Vampire The Masquerade is, indeed, one of those things. Announced as part of Techland's new DL2 winter roadmap, we can expect to stalk the Infected-ridden streets of Villedor as one of the World of Darkness' many Kindred just in time for Halloween, and trust me when I say I am beyond excited.

Dying Light 2 microtransactions spark review bombing, Techland replies

Dying Light 2 microtransactions have generated a strong response from the zombie game's player base, as recent DL2 Steam reviews criticize developer Techland and its new owner Tencent for changing the way that Dying Light 2 in-game items are purchased. In response, Techland offers potential solutions for player's issues relating to microtransactions and the new 'DL Points,' explaining that it is attempting to "figure out this issue." In the meantime, Dying Light 2's Steam rating, based on recent reviews, drops to 'mixed.'
