During Opening Night Live at Gamescom 2022 the first story DLC for Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Bloody Ties has been revealed in a brand new trailer.

Fierce fighters are invited to a new location, the grand opening of The Carnage Hall. Before entering this new arena, we invite the community to revisit The City, and download the new community update, released today on PC and coming soon to console...

In Bloody Ties, players will embark on a new story adventure, you will reach the epicentre of death, wealth and absolute splendour in a stunning location; The Carnage Hall. This old opera building is full of challenges and quests, surprising new weapon types, character interactions, and discoveries to uncover.

Players who pre-order will get access to the Aristocrat Pack, including an exclusive weapon and outfit!



Before experiencing this extravagant new DLC, we invite the community to revisit the last bastion of humankind in Dying Light 2 Stay Human and download the community update, available now. This new type of update is based upon feedback received from the community, containing updates they are Dying 2 Have.

Community Update is our effort in listening to the voice of all gamers in the ways of improving their experience in the City. This update is live now! Furthermore, we treat this initiative as a long-term plan. So this is just the first patch of this type, as there will be many more to come.

Community Update #1 includes the highly requested features our players were dying 2 have:

• New color grading option “Gritty” for a game looking akin to the 2019 gameplay presentations
  
• More Biters are now roaming the streets of the City
  
• Bitters are now more aggressive during the night
  
• Increased number of Special Infected during the night
  
• Volatiles hide in Dark Hollows and Forsaken Stores during the day
  
• Virals are more vigilant
  
• Weapon mods can now increase a weapon’s maximum durability
  
• Image clarity and graphic enhancements (all)
  
• Improved GPU memory management on PC in DX12 mode, especially with RT enabled (PC)
  
• Added AMD FSR 2.0 support on PC (PC)

The second Chapter, entitled “A Huntress and a Hag” will debut in a couple of weeks along with the upcoming patch 1.5. As previously mentioned, the Chapters are an essential part of the post-launch support plan for Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Moreover, a new “At The Fish Eye” episode is coming to better explain these content drops!

For now, all you need to know is that this highly skilled tracker and archery expert has a very special task for you. Will you become the hunter… or the prey? Stay tuned as in the upcoming weeks; Techland will reveal more information about new missions, bounties, enemies, and weapons that the second Chapter will introduce!

Check out the newest episode of our “At the Fish Eye” series, where Techland’s Game Designer responsible for the vision behind the Chapters - Karol Langier - and the Senior Brand Manager - Anna Kubica - explain the philosophy behind this new in-game content.
