The Battle of Britain was named after the fierce conflict in Britain's skies between the British Royal Air Force (RAF) and Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy against the German Luftwaffe. This conflict is commemorated on September 15th each year in the United Kingdom on what has become called the Battle of Britain Day.

Exciting news for you! A new daily reward track is available from September 15th onwards for all players.



[h2]How it works[/h2]
You will receive a reward on first log in and then for the next seven days you log in. The prizes you receive are carefully selected to support you on your journey to build and improve your deck, starting with a base pack and then building up to an elite card on the final day of the track.

[h2]Background [/h2]
This new feature is part of a larger effort to improve KARDS based on your excellent feedback and our own research. One of the big themes we noticed was that new players feel KARDS is too slow initially and takes too long to build a good deck. Investigating this further, we found that despite the many cards new players receive during their first steps, these cards don't show the true potential of KARDS; they also don't open the path to exciting playstyles fast enough. Therefore we are adding an additional track of daily rewards to the new player experience.

We believe that these rewards are especially helpful for new players to quickly build up a good collection and explore the many exciting aspects of KARDS. However, our esteemed veteran players can enjoy this feature, of course, as no one is left behind!

The recent patch on September 1st with its change to the Theaters of War cards (you can create them with resources now) and this new feature of a daily reward are just the start. There is more to come for new and veteran players alike, the pipeline for the next weeks and months is nicely filled. Stay tuned for updates!

This update delivers new daily logins for KARDS, improvements to the starter decks, and some bug fixes. The update was published on September 15th.

• Mysterious shadow in the battle scene has been removed.
  
• Improvements and bug fixes to translated text.
  
• Destruction icons were sometimes missing below a card on the battlefield. Fixed.
  
• When multiple F4F WILDCATS were killed with CARPET BOMBING or a similar order, the HQ would sometimes still keep the smokescreen. Fixed.
  
• AI: HUDSON was pinning cards damaged by it. Fixed.
  
• AI: HEINKEL was making the AI crash in some cases. Fixed.
  
• AI: ROOT OF THE ENEMY was sometimes behaving badly. Fixed.

As we have completed Season 17 and the ladder reset, it’s time to get to know this month's Officer Club Championship (OCC) participants that will be playing for their share of the $1000 prize pool. This time around the top 12 players on the ladder qualify for the Officer Club Championship, so let’s congratulate the following players for their qualification:

In this format, the top 4 players on the ladder are guaranteed a quarter final spot in the tournament while the remaining 8 players will face each other for the final 4 slots in the tournament.

The $1000 prize pool will be split in the following way:

• 1st place - $500
  
• 2nd place - $300
  
• 3rd place - $200
  

In the OCC, players have to bring three decks from three different major nations and once a player wins a match using a certain deck in a series, they can not bring that deck again until the following round. This means that in order to win the tournament, the winning player will have to win with each of their decks, making each player only as strong as their weakest deck, surely making for some exciting and entertaining matches!

The Officers Club Championship (OCC) will take place on the 19th of September from 15:00 to 22:00 UTC. Join us for all the action covered by community casters and experience a unique insight into the highest level of play in KARDS.

The fierce conflict in the skies over Britain between the British RAF and Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy against the German Luftwaffe has since been named the Battle of Britain. This conflict is commemorated on September 15th each year in the United Kingdom on what has become called the Battle of Britain Day.

In KARDS, we will also commemorate this event with a brand new card back, a limited time offer, and a very special tournament, featuring the best players in the game.

[h2]Battle of Britain Invitational[/h2]

To pay tribute to the conflict that happened in the Battle of Britain, we invite some of the best KARDS players in the world to join us for a great tournament!

Each player will bring two decks to the tournament, one composed entirely of British cards, and the other entirely of German cards. They will then take turns playing their German deck against the opponent's British deck and, if needed, pick either deck for the deciding third match!

We are eagerly looking forward to seeing the creativity in deck building from these players and for all the new and crazy stuff we are sure to see them bring to the table.

As an added bonus to all the festivities, we will be running a giveaway of 3 packs every few minutes in Twitch chat for the broadcast's full duration on September 15th. The only thing you have to do to be eligible for the giveaway is watching the broadcast while logged in to Twitch and type something in the chat and cheer for your favorites so we know you are there!

To commemorate the victory the RAF won over the German Luftwaffe in The Battle of Britain, we will release a brand new RAF inspired card back.
