KARDS - The WWII Card Game News

Casual Battle: Now available!

Great news for all players that want to either take KARDS a bit more easily or that want to experiment with exciting new decks and strategies.

Based on excellent community feedback and own research from the KARDS team, you can now enjoy the new CASUAL BATTLE.
Casual Battle
Casual Battle allows you to simply play a match without any worries about the impact on the ladder. Matches played in Casual Battle have no effect on the seasonal ladder (no stars gained or lost); they are just for the pure fun of playing and experimenting with some crazy ideas.

When choosing a match (before you actually enter the battlefield), you can decide if you want to play it as a casual battle or not. It is that simple!

Try it out for yourself and play a couple matches right away!

In the OCC players have to bring three decks from three different major nations and once a player wins a match using a certain deck in a series, they can not bring that deck again until the following round. This means that in order to win the tournament, the winning player will have to win with each of their decks, making each player only as strong as their weakest deck, surely making for some exciting and entertaining matches!

The Officers Club Championship (OCC) will take place on the 20th of February at 15:00 - 22:00 GMT. Join us for all the action and experience a unique insight into the highest level of play in KARDS.

The new KARDS Progression systems are live!

This major KARDS update delivers three fundamentally new systems that add, each on their own, a wealth of new progression options:

New Wildcards
New National Progression System

New Seasonal Ladder and rank revamp
We complete this update with a sizable card rebalance, which also touches on the Resistance gameplay.

The new National Progression delivers rewards more frequently and helps you to create competitive decks much faster. Wildcards allow you to build up your collection in a much more streamlined and enjoyable way. The new seasonal ladder is decoupled from the national progression, thus reducing the pressure to rank up in several nations at once.

Plus: Every player got at least 2 Officer Packs for free!

Log in and have fun!

New progression for KARDS

We strongly recommend discovering all the upcoming changes, learning how the new systems work, and how you will benefit from the changes:
A new National Progression system
This new system replaces the old achievements and gives you a reward track for each respective nation. Playing a nation will now yield faster and more consistent rewards, advancing the nation's progression path each match, including PvE!
Wildcards: A new way to create cards
The new wildcards replace the current system of resources. In the new system, you use wildcards to create your new cards. This allows you to progress much faster in a nation you are focusing on; it also allows us to be much more generous with nation-specific rewards. Gold cards will become prestige items.
Seasonal ladder revamp
The new ladder features a unified system as we drop the nation-specific aspect of it. Whenever you win matches, you will gain a star in this new ladder regardless of the nation you have played.
Transition to the new system "What happened to my stuff?"
Your existing resources have been doubled and converted into wildcards. Achievements got converted to the new system and instantly completed there - as far as possible. You got 2 Officer packs. And you have received the seasonal rewards (due to the short season in February).

Simply log in and check out all your goodies!
Card balance changes
This update arrives with a total of 13 card changes, including a significant update to the infamous French Resistance card.

With these changes, we open the gates to strategies never seen before and lay the foundation for future work.

KARDS developer Olikrummi and player expert Darkness walk us through all the changes and their potential. Join us and explore these changes:

As part of our core progression systems' full revamp, we have also substantially beefed up the in-game Welcome Offer. This Welcome Offer has a fantastic discount and is the perfect tool to kickstart your career.

The new Welcome Offer now contains 2 Officer Packs and 7 Standard packs, and comes with a 48% discount and 12 Bonus wildcards!

The best? Everyone can purchase the new Welcome Offer again - even if you took advantage and already purchased the original one.

Enjoy all your new progress!
