The K-League is back

Hello Kards enthusiasts!

A few months ago, the K-league had its first, small-scale tournament and completed it with success. Our format of the group stage, followed by double-elimination, allowed us to see what we could improve upon. And having evaluated this, it’s time for this competition to grow bold.

Starting September, the K-league makes its grand re-entrance into the competitive scene!
A weekly competition that comes to a conclusion every 3 weeks. The K-League provides opportunities for players to grow their skill in the competitive scene regardless of their current skill by providing different levels of competition, so everyone is sure to find something that suits!

The new format splits the competition into 3 divisions.
  • Gold division
  • Silver division
  • Copper division

Each division comes with its own prizes and difficulty. With gold having the best prizes and toughest opponents and copper being the entry-level division. Each season will see the top players promoted up a division, and the bottom players relegated down a division.

The tournament will be covered with regular live streams on the dedicated Twitch channel twitch.tv/Kardsleague so make sure to head on over and give it a follow.

πŸ•¬ The big KARDS Summer Feedback

Four months after the official release of KARDS, we are now preparing for KARDS to head into the future with significant steps. We invite you to shape the future of KARDS together with the dev team. After all, KARDS is for YOU!

The KARDS Summer Feedback is all about you: what do you like about KARDS, what do you dislike, and where do you think KARDS needs something new or different? We continuously follow a multitude of feedback channels such as Steam reviews, comments on blogs, forum discussions, Discord chats, KARDS support, internal metrics, Reddit, and more). We already carefully listen to what you have to say, but now is the time for a very focused approach. The goal of this initiative is to improve KARDS for you - not for anyone else but for YOU, the dear reader of these lines.

πŸ† Officer Club Championship #3

Hey Kards community!

With Season 16 closed and the ladder reset, it's time to get to know this month's Officer Club Championship participants that will be playing for their share of the $1000 prize pool. Let's congratulate the following players for their qualification:

  1. Jking7
  2. 0CanadaBear0
  3. wild_eyes
  4. Blue_Blast
  5. 少妇白洁
  6. AriBigBehn
  7. Titan
  8. Darkness

Remember, in the Officer Club Championship, the top 8 players of the season will fight for a $1000 prize pool. The pool will be split in the following way:

  • 1st place - $500
  • 2nd place - $300
  • 3rd place - $200

All players must bring three decks from three different major nations. Once a player wins a match using a specific deck in a series, they can not bring that deck again until the following round. This means that to win the tournament, the winning player will have to win with each of their decks, making each player only as strong as their weakest deck, inevitably making for some exciting and entertaining matches!

The decklist will be made public, and we will broadcast with comments on the fighting. This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn some tips and tricks from the best KARDS players. Use this knowledge to your own advantage in regular matches and the upcoming KARDS Open #2 (sign up and participate!).

The third Officers Club Championship (OCC) will take place on the 15th of August at 15:00 - 22:00 UTC. Join us for all the action covered by community casters and experience a unique insight into the highest level of play in KARDS.

Catch all the action live on www.twitch.tv/kardsccg , www.facebook.com/kardsccg, our Youtube channel, or the Steam store page.
