1.0.5c - The Performance Update



v1.0.5c build. This one has taken a little longer as we were doing some more bugfixes, but it is ready and should run a bit faster now as we've optimized the heaviest part of the game which was the vegetation.

We are still working hard on the game and have a big update coming in December! If you've enjoyed the game it would really help if you can leave a review too.

optimize vegetation system to do less combining, faster rendering and deallocation of vegetation. this could range from no noticeable difference to quite a significant boost in fps and lower jitter.
lowered the collider of the t22 so the wheels don't clip on harsh jump landings

fixes
fix bug where 'barely keeping it together' achievement was being awarded even on terminal damage stage completes
parking lot achievement no longer awarded before all cars are unlocked

1.0.5b beta build hotfix. We've added some fixes for the beta build and will do a few days of testing to make sure they're good before setting it live.

Update 1.0.4 and Beta Update 1.0.5

This is a small update for 1.0.4, but the new vegetation optimization is in the 1.0.5 beta build, so if you're having issues it would be great if you can let us know how this performs for you!

skip song and previous song buttons changed to comma and period on keyboard
Players can now skip the keybinding overlay after the introduction
headlight shadows are darker now and use less sampling so they're better on performance too.

Fixed: logging truck liveries had reversed bonus liveries.
Kvannkjosen boats on frozen lake have colliders now
fixed: holzerath haybales at one intersection were a little bouncy

Beta Update 1.0.4

This is a small Beta update which signals the start of our new update schedule, in which we'll be aiming for a new update every two weeks, after two weeks of public beta testing. We'll do our best to stick to this, but it will be affected by Christmas holidays and any other holidays/events.

We're working on adding new features and still fixing bugs and improving optimization, so this is the best place to check out the new stuff!
