The Celestial Lair: Part 2
At the end of last year, a new adventure got underway in NosTale with the release of Act 8 – The Celestial Lair. In Part 2, we’re bringing a host of cool twists and improvements to bring more variety to your favourite game. Get the lowdown on all the changes in this post!
[h3]Land of Life[/h3]
In a similar vein to the Land of Death, you can level up your hero on this map by battling against golden yet dangerous monsters with your NosTale family. Uncover hidden altars and enjoy various bonuses!
You can access the Land of Life from the capital in Act 8. The map is available around the clock, and you have around 2 hours per day for hunting monsters there.
[h3]Armour Runes[/h3]
You can now add runes to your champion level armour! These runes give you a small armour bonus (+1 to +21). The runes are similar to the ones you know from weapons: attempting to carve runes can be successful, fail, or the rune can be damaged. In contrast to weapon runes, you can only apply 3 different rune effects to your armour.
Amongst other things, you require Runic Dragon Powder for carving runes, which can be collected in all Act 8 regions, and of course in the Land of Life.
[h3]More Fun![/h3]
Thanks to our latest balancing changes, you have even more reason to upgrade your weapons. You can focus on attack strength when upgrading your weapons, and defence when upgrading your armour.
Tattoos have also been overhauled, giving you all the more reason to experiment with their various effects and buffs.

Cellon Eraser
- Reset your accessories. This eraser removes all Cellon options from an accessory, giving you space for new ones!
- Try something new. This scroll gives you a new tattoo skill from your loa. If you change tattoos, the level of your previous one will be transferred to the new one.
- Explore new possibilities. Change your tattoo loa and then get a random tattoo from the chosen loa with the same level as your previous tattoo.
- Even easier rune carving. This scroll not only increases your chances of success by a whopping 30%, but also increases the chance of getting a rune power by 5%. Your weapon will not be damaged when carving, and you have a 50% chance that the material used is not consumed. As if that weren’t enough, you even save half of the gold costs with every attempt!
