BLACK SQUAD COMPETITIVE MATCH – SEASON 4 will start with the next update.
We would like to introduce the schedule, the operation plan, the events and all of the rewards.

* Some parts of the SEASON 4 end rewards will be updated with an additional announcement.

• Start: September 30th, 2019 after the update
  
• End: January 6th, 2020 (14 weeks in total)

• The division of the Competitive Match Solo/Duo and Squad will be unified into one Competitive Match.
  
  
  
  
• Competitive Match Unification – Teaming
  
  • Competitive Match teams contain 1 to 5 members.
    
  • [Note] Competitive Match Season 4 is the first season which unifies Solo/Duo and Squad matches, and players will have 800 MMR points to start rank placement.
    
  • [Note] The history of Competitive Match Season 4 will be recorded as one unified summary at your Profile details.
    
  • [Note] If the MMR POINT difference between the lowest team member and the highest team member is bigger than 1,000 points, the match cannot start.
    
  • [Note] If a user is in the match room and BANNED from competitive matches due to leave penalties, the match cannot start.
• Competitive Match – Matchmaking
  
  • The unified competitive matches use the same opponent search conditions as before to match players of similar MMR points.
    
  • To search for Group Matches, matchmaking will prioritize finding groups of the same conditions.
    
    • e.g. A team of 4 Grouped players and 1 Solo player will have a higher chance to be matched to an opponent team consisting of 4 Grouped players and 1 Solo player.
  • After a certain amount of time, the search range will expand to find a group of broader conditions.
    
    • e.g. If the search for the team of 4 Grouped players and 1 Solo player is not successful during the designated time, search conditions are widened to find a team of 3~5 Grouped players.
  • Matchmaking is improved with more subtle condition checks, there is gradual search expansion for teams that have a similar number of grouped players who is also finding a match.
• Season 4 initial MMR Point is 800, not affected by the Season 3 result.
  
  
• Unified Competitive Match can be accessed at the lobby via one icon.
  
  
  
  
• Competitive History for the previous 2 competitive match divisions at your Profile will now show the unified result, previous information of Seasons 1-3 will stay the same.
  
  
  
  
• Relevant information at your Profile will also be arranged for unification according to the change.
  
  

Various events with rewards will be available during SEASON 4.

The rewards below will be distributed after Competitive Match SEASON 4 ends and after rank settlement.

• Goal: Rank up to EAGLE Tier(Rank) during BLACK SQUAD COMPETITIVE MATCH - SEASON 4.

• Note: Reach the EAGLE Tier (Rank) at least one time during Season 4.

Ban against unfair activity for Competitive Match in SEASON 4 will be enforced as below.

• Leaving a match will lead to an immediate penalty.
  
• Temporary blocking for suspicious cheating users will begin.
  
• If you repeatedly or intentionally do the following activities in Season 4, you will receive a temporary or permanent ban from participation in Competitive Matches.
  
  • Leaving a Match
    • If the accumulated number of abandoned matches exceeds a certain number, you will be banned from entering the Competitive Channel and you will no longer be able to participate in Competitive Matches during that season.
  • AFK
    • If you do not play the game, you will be ejected from the match, and if you are continuously going AFK, you will no longer be able to participate in Competitive Matches during a specific time or current season.
  • isruptive manner like insulting & Intentionally Losing a Match
    If you play with disruptive manners such as swearing, or intentionally sabotaging, trolling, or not playing properly that leads to consequential damage on your team while benefiting your enemy, you will no longer be able to participate in Competitive Matches during that season.

The next update will be on September 30th, the Summer Event will end and SUMMER POINTS will be removed. Also the items obtainable with SUMMER POINTS will become unavailable at the shop.
- Make sure to spend all your SUMMER POINTS before the event ends!


The random boxes with the guaranteed win counter will be removed.
- What is a random box with a guaranteed win counter? When the counter of the box reaches 1, at the next purchase you have a 100% chance to receive the permanent item.

- The win counter system details are shown below(from Update 1 patch note)

- For new random boxes, a guaranteed win counter has been added in order to increase your chances of winning an item. With each purchase, the counter decreases.
- When the counter reaches 1 and you have not won the designated permanent item from the box, you will be guaranteed to win the item on the next purchase.
