You can look forward to a new update which introduces new Personal Premium Shops. This will usher in a new era in trading in Metin2 – improved, more profitable and super easy to use!

Your Personal Premium Shop Is On Its Way


Now you can sell your goods automatically and even while you’re offline! To get started, you just need a Personal Premium Shop from the Metin2 shop. Keep your eyes peeled during events as you might be able to find the new shop here as well.

The Personal Premium Shop is available as a buff only for a limited time. While activated, you can take advantage of its cool features – even as you continue playing, during server maintenance or if you’ve left the game. Your shop will still remain open and your goods will still be available.

Trade Is Blooming At the Bazaar

Since the villages are no longer safe, the three kingdoms have come to an accord to allow access to peaceful trade for all. From now on, shops can only be opened in a neutral area: the Bazaar.

Now you can find all shops on a single map which is accessible by players of all three kingdoms. In the ‘Bazaar’ map, no duels or other PvP actions are possible, and monsters can also not appear. Now you can go there and concentrate on trading in peace.

We made trading much simpler: not only the new Personal Premium Shops make exchanging goods easier, but we’ve also introduced new features to the old shops. You can continue using these shops on the new map, of course. Furthermore, there are NPCs waiting for you on the new map to ensure business is booming: the Blacksmith, the General Store Saleswoman, the Alchemist, the Storekeeper and the Mailbox.

This update will make it even easier for you to find the right buyers and sellers for goods – this is for sure.

The days are getting shorter, the nights are drawing in… Halloween is upon us! During these eerie nights, the denizens of Metin2 dress up in spectacularly creepy costumes, take their scary pets out on parade, and earn fabulous prizes in the Yut Nori Event!

There are new Halloween items in the shop to help you celebrate – only for a limited time, small mummies, ghastly armour with matching hairstyles and glowing eyes as well as two supernatural raven mounts are available in the shop.

Event: Yut Nori

Hunt monsters to gather Birch Branches, combine 28 of these into a Yut Nori Board, and let the fun begin!

• Starts: 8/10 at midnight
  
• End of the Birch Branch drops and the shop offers: 5/11 at 11:59 PM
  
• Event ends: 6/11 at 11:59 PM
  

How to Play

You can play the game as soon as you have a Yut Nori Board:

1. You play against the computer.
2. Each player has two pieces. Whichever player brings both pieces home first is the winner.
3. Instead of dice, the game uses Yut Sticks. The number of spaces you can move is determined by how many sticks land with the flat side facing up.
4. The first throw determines the starting player. The player with the lowest score begins.
5. Click on ‘Throw’. Your move is displayed below. Select the piece you wish to move.
6. If you land directly on a space with an arrow, you can take the shortcut.

You can also exchange the Yut Nori Board for the Yut Nori Secret which grants you increases of 20% EXP, 5% item drops and 10% strength against monsters for 30 minutes.

Throws and Moves

Do (one flat side up): Move forwards 1 space
Gae (two flat sides up): Move forwards 2 spaces
Geol (three flat sides up): Move forwards 3 spaces
Yut (four flat sides up): Move forwards 4 spaces
Mo (four rounded sides up): Move forwards 5 spaces
Back Do (only marked stick with flat side up): Move backwards 1 space. If you do not have a token on the board, you will have to wait a turn.

Job-gi: Landing directly on a space occupied by the computer’s token removes it from the board and you receive 10 points.
Up-gi: If both of your pieces end the turn on the same space, you move them as one starting with the next turn.
Throw again: If you score a Yut or Mo, you get another turn.

You can increase your chances of landing a certain throw. Simply select it from the relevant menu.

Points

1. Throwing the Yut Sticks: -10
2. Catching the computer’s piece: +10
3. Computer catches your piece: -10
4. Getting your piece home: +10
5. Computer gets piece home: -10

Note

If you abandon the game or leave the map on which you are playing, you will not receive any reward.

From 10/9/2020 (2 PM) to 2/10/2020 (11:59 PM CEST) you have the chance to play our minigame based off the Turkish game *Okey*. Before you can start, you have to put together a card set. Then, with some luck and smart moves, you can earn points to receive **valuable prizes**. So what are you waiting for? Let's play!

The Okey Game

Defeat monsters to receive cards. Once you've collected and stacked 24 okey cards, you automatically receive an Okey Card Set and can start playing. Before you start a game, make sure you have a set and also 30,000 Yang.

The aim of the game is to create a combination of groups and runs:

• A group consists of cards of the same value (e.g. 7, 7, 7). The lower the cards' values, the fewer points you receive for it.
  
• A run consists of at least three cards with consecutive numbers (e.g. 6, 7, 8). The lower the cards' values, the fewer points you receive for it. Runs of the same colour earn you more points than runs of several colours.
  

Prizes

After finishing a game, your prizes are delivered directly to your inventory. The chests contain high-quality and useful items for your hero – for example: **the Ring of Deadly Power, Cor Draconis (Mystical) and many more!**

Highscore

You want to be known as a winner? Then try to beat the highscore! This gives you the chance to win more chests. You can check the highscore at the Okey Table. The prizes for achieving the highscore can then be collected after the end of the event:

• For 1st place you receive 10x Golden Okey Chest.
  
• For 2nd place you receive 5x Golden Okey Chest.
  
• For 3rd place you receive 3x Golden Okey Chest.
  
• 4th to 10th place receive 1x Golden Okey Chest.

Game Instructions

1. Left-click on the stack of cards to uncover the first 5 cards.
2. Earn points by selecting 3 cards. (Please note: Left-click = select card, right-click = permanently discard card)
3. The more points you have earned by the end of the game, the bigger your prize.

Note

1. You can interrupt your game at any time by pressing the "ESC" or "X" key. Changing maps or teleporting will end the current game!
2. A discarded card cannot be restored, so decide wisely!
3. A cancelled game will not be refunded! Decide whether the location of the game is right in advance.
4. The Okey Table will disappear from the game 7 days after the end of the event. Until then you can have a look at the contents of the Okey Chests. Rewards that are not picked up will expire and will not be refunded.

It Is Time – The New Continent Appears on the Horizon and You Can Conquer It! A whole range of new, action-packed features await you in the large Metin2 expansion Conquerors of Yohara. You can find more details about the new contents here.

Our guide provides you all the details about starting out on the new continent and how to get there.

Here’s what’s in store:

Champion Levels
Level 120 is not enough! You can become Champions on the new continent and ascend through 30 new levels. You can only collect the experience points for this on the new Yohara maps.
Champion Levels are displayed above your head in blue. This lets you instantly know who has already begun their Champion’s journey. You want to know more? You can find all the details in our guide.

New Character Stats

Sung Ma’s Will
As a Champion you can improve one of your four new stats with each full EXP marble. This is how you improve your Sung Ma’s will in the four attributes RES, INT, VIT and STR. Each monster and every map on the new continent has corresponding stats, because the will of the dark Demon God, Sung Mahi, is omnipresent here.
If your Sung Ma’s will stats are too low, you move slower (RES), have more trouble killing monsters (STR), experience deductions to your HP (VIT) and are more susceptible to negative status effects (INT). The higher your Sung Ma’s will, the better your chances against the monsters and the faster you can move.

Precision
Precision is the stat which reflects how reliably you can hit the monsters on the new continent. You can also develop the corresponding new skill or equip corresponding equipment.

New Maps
Prove your skills in the Abandoned Fortress, on the Dong Gwang Plain, in the Seo Gwang Wastelands and the Nam Gwang Chasm! New demonic foes, familiar allies and exciting quests await you on every map.
Sung Mahi’s minions are also constantly erecting new outposts to secure the demon god’s control over the land. Destroy the outposts before they can all be finished to thwart Sung Mahi’s reign of terror which also influences your own stats!

New Guild Territories
You will find new guild territories on the Dong Gwang Plain. Some buildings can only be constructed here which you require to use the new systems like refining jadite ore. What’s special: it’s not the fastest to bid who gets the guild territory but the highest bidder! If you place your bid in the land auction at the right time as a guild leader, with some luck, you can get one of the desired territories for your guild.
But beware: to keep it, you must pay the lease regularly. If you don’t pay enough Yang after 9 days, the land will automatically be abandoned and auctioned off again.
The old guild territories will also be distributed according to the new principle. Land which has already been developed by guilds will remain in their possession after the update, however. Remember to pay for this land on time, or else it will be put up for auction. You have 9 days time after the update to pay.

Powerful 9th Skill for Each Class
Storm Shot, Death Wave or Aether Ward? A new mighty skill is available for every discipline on their adventure to Yohara, which you can learn after becoming a Champion. Of course you can put the 9th skill to good use outside the new continent as well.

To learn the ability, you need the matching books for your discipline. You also need Talent Potions to improve them. With some luck, you can loot the skill books from monster or the Metin stones on Yohara. You can get Talent Potions from Metin stones or boss monsters on the new continent and in Sung Mahi Tower.

Dungeons

Gnoll Caves
The Gnoll Caves are a dark dungeon on the Dong Gwang Plain full of wild monsters. You need a Passage Ticket to enter. Can you make your way through all three zones of the maze and defeat the boss? The deeper you delve into the caves, the stronger your Sung Ma’s will should be. You can expect rewards such as crafting materials for gloves and Skull Banners which you need to enter the tower.

Sung Mahi Tower
In this hellish tower, Sung Mahi puts the most capable fighters among you to the test: 50 levels with 3 rooms each will test all of your skills – and you’re completely alone. But not only will you have to prove your strength in battle, but your wits and speed will also be put to the test: each room has tricky tasks for you to overcome. Rewards are granted for every completed level.

Please note that Sung Mahi Tower will not be available at launch and will be added at a later point in time.

New Biologist Quests
Chaegirab the biologist is also relentlessly continuing his research on the new continent. Help him with his research by collecting Metin Crystals, Purified Cores and Shadowferns –you can expect permanent bonuses to your Sung Ma’s will as a reward!

New Items
Accessories
Raising your Champion Level and completing quests aren’t the only ways to improve your Sung Ma’s will – new talismans and Spirit Stones also strengthen you for battle. For individual bonuses you can create necklaces, earrings and bracelets from new materials which you can mine from jadite ore veins on Yohara.
The new equipment can also be further enchanted and improved as before, of course.

Gloves
During the main quest sequence, you can receive a Glove Licence which unlocks your new equipment slot. From this point on, you can wear gloves which strengthen your Sung Ma’s will and can be fitted with mighty Spirit Stones.

Soul Relics
With Soul Relics you can achieve great bonuses which aren’t linked to your equipment but to your character directly. If you find a Sword Soul, Protection Soul, Jewellery Soul and Light Soul from quests on the new continent and combine them with a class-specific Soul Relic from Chaegirab, you can enjoy additional bonuses for up to 12 hours. After the time runs out, you must recharge the Soul Relic with matching souls to use it again.

You can find an overview of your Soul Relic and its bonuses under a new tab in your character profile. The bonuses would also be especially useful in battles in the old world.

Random Stats
All equipment items which are newly dropped after the update have random stats instead of a fixed attack value or a fixed attack speed per weapon type, for example. This means apparently identical items can differ in their essential aspects and offer you the option to further optimise your equipment. This only affects equipment from the new continent. Stats for older equipment will not be randomized.
