With us you’ll be ploughing up the snow with your two-handed sword, and the only bells you’ll hear are being clattered over your enemies’ skulls! It’s time to gather your wits, because there won’t be chance to catch your breath between now and Christmas:

Rampant Action on Merged Servers

We’ve been fusing game worlds and filling the servers with life. Find new allies, challenge new rivals and look out for epic duels around every corner!

Rapid Progress and Rich Rewards

On 22nd November we’re launching our temporary Xmas servers! Special rules apply on these limited event servers – look forward to the following until 16th January 2019:

• Hit the ground running with a new character and level them up to the max in under 8 weeks.
  
• A variety of events will keep the adventures coming thick and fast.
  
• Fight your way to the top at dizzying speeds, thanks to 40% extra EXP and the 75% greater item drop chance.
  
• Reap huge rewards.
  
• Transfer your hero to your home server and even get an additional character slot, if necessary. (only possible within the countries listed above, and you can only get and additional slot for the specific server, not all servers of the country).
  
• Complete as many quests as you can during the event and earn tons of item coupons for chests, mounts, pets and more. The codes will be sent to your registered email address.

We’re opening the doors on a truly unique experience:

On 22nd June we’re launching Elvedin, a special server giving you a truly unique start to your adventures, more action-packed, tumultuous and epic than ever before!

Intrepid adventurers will find conditions are ideal for a rapid start to their heroic careers, plus something extra special – the new ‘Ship Defence’ instance, which will initially only be playable exclusively on the new server. Be among the first to conquer the oceans in Metin2!

Here’s what to expect:

Events during the first four weeks

• Double drop chance for all items
  
• Flower Power Event: Let the flowers bloom and get great new rewards such as the Book of the Leader+ (100% EXP bonus for groups) or a Metin stone summoning scroll
  
• Pomp Ebony Box Drop Event: Pick up handy items perfect for kickstarting your new character’s career
  
• EXP Event: Visit the NPC Uriel, get an additional EXP bonus of up to 80% depending on your level, and level up your character in record time
  
• A unique new dungeon to test your readiness for the new continent
  
• PLEASE NOTE, to make new server and new start fair to every player,storage depot WILL BE CHANGED for some time after the server start. ONLY items that were created AFTER server start will be available.

Special Dungeon and PvP Settings

• Time waits for no hero: aggressive high-level monsters are running rampage on the maps. Keep your eyes peeled!
  
• The Auto-Hunting feature is disabled.
  
• Changes to dungeon level requirements: some instances on the new server can only be entered by players in the pre-determined level range. This promises more gaming fun and less frustration for players of all levels! More details to follow.

Competitions and Rankings

• Tons of competitions and special prizes for:
  
• … the first dungeon boss kill on the server
  
• … the quickest completion of certain quests
  
• … the winners each week in Meley’s Lair, the Zodiac Temple and the new Ship Defence instance

Exclusive New Instance

• The ‘Ship Defence’ instance will initially be available exclusively on the new server.Fight off waves of slippery sea monsters and attacks from the Hydra on board a sailing ship – who will be the first to end this sea battle victorious? More details can be found in the separate announcement.
  
• Prove your strength! If you defend the ship successfully it will set course to a completely new continent.
  
• Heroes of the nation: as soon as you have defeated the Hydra, the instance will be unlocked for all other servers in your country

The exciting new card game ‘Catch the King’ will test your little grey cells, offering rewards for your skill in the form of valuable Bronze, Silver and Golden King's Loot. Hunt down monsters to collect King Cards, or pick up the Card Packs in the item shop to get started straight away.



Hunt down monsters to collect King Cards. Together 25 King Cards make up a King Deck, with which you can play a game of Catch the King.



Reveal as many cards as possible and collect points. Catch the king in one go on the very last move to pick up 100 points at once. If you earn at least 10 points, you can redeem a prize at the end of the game.

You can wager up to 5 King Decks each time you play, earning the same number of chests in reward. Please note: The number of cards you play with is fixed; it is not influenced by the number of decks you wager. Once the game has started, you cannot reclaim the King Decks you have wagered.




+ You always start with the lowest card. An arrow indicates which card can be selected.

+ By clicking on the card it will appear in the 'My Card' slot. In subsequent turns, cards of the same value will be moved automatically.

+ Turn over any face-down card on the game board and compare it to your own.

+ If your card is greater, you will receive points equal to the value of the revealed card and you can turn over another card on the board.

+ If the cards are the same value, you receive the points and your turn is over. Play continues with a new card from your deck.

+ If your card's value is lower, you don't receive any points. Your turn is over and play continues with a new card.

+ If your card is a 5 and there is a face-down 5 neighbouring the card you reveal, your card will be captured. Your turn is over and you don't receive any points.

+ If your card is the king (K) and you catch the king on the board in exactly one move, you receive 100 points. The game ends after this move.

+ Bingo! If you reveal all cards in a row, you receive 10 extra points.

+ If you've earned at least 10 points, you can collect your prize by clicking on 'Your Reward'.




+ Cards with the value 1 capture: 1
+ Cards with the value 2 capture: 1, 2
+ Cards with the value 3 capture: 1, 2, 3
+ Cards with the value 4 capture: 1, 2, 3, 4
+ Cards with the value 5 capture: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
+ Cards with the value K capture: K




Revealed card is 1: +10 points
Revealed card is 2: +20 points
Revealed card is 3: +30 points
Revealed card is 4: +40 points
Revealed card is 5: +50 points

Revealing all cards in a row: +10 points




+ More King Decks may be found among the King's Loot. Make sure to open the prize before the end of the event, as all King Cards and Decks will then disappear and you'll come away empty-handed.

+ If you log out or leave the map while playing Catch the King, you'll forfeit your reward.

They say that if you swish your sea blue Aquarian weapon skin close enough past your enemy’s ear, they’ll be able to hear the roar of the oceans – if they’re lucky!


Dress up like a legendary samurai in O-Yoroi armour and a Kabuto helmet or summon colourful lantern pets to shed light on your situation and give you a boost with their powerful bonuses.


In Metin2, even Italy can join in the football fun! Show where your loyalties lie with the national team kits – even if your team isn’t really playing for the title. You can also call on support from the wing with the two mascot pets Gary Lycaner and Lycaninho, who’ll give you a boost with their powerful bonuses and deadly dribbling skills. But hurry, they’re only available in the item shop for a short time!

Biologist quest: Leaders' Soul Stone can also be looted from Ochao Lord and Strong Ochao Lord.

Fixed an error whereby leaving the Enchanted Forest was blocked.
Fixed an error which allowed special characters in the guildbank.
Fixed an error which activated more than one quest after using the Researcher's Elixir.
Fixed an error which caused that some monsters spawned by metin stones would not attack.

From level 30 you can collect Ice Cream Scoops to get some respite from the heat. Visit our event NPC Summer to exchange the ice cream for valuable rewards such as a Noble Black Horse – the more Ice Cream Scoops you give to Summer, the longer the mount’s duration!
